- Villingili - Participate in the “Save the Beach” initiative and experience the serene side of urban life by visiting the smaller island of Villimale’, situated southwest of Male’. A guide will accompany you on a public ferry ride to Villimale’. Stroll through the peaceful streets, identify local trees, and gain insight into the conservation efforts led by “Save The Beach”. Before heading back to Male, enjoy traditional ‘hedika’ at a beachside café. Hedika consists of sweet and savory snacks typically served with black tea between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. A portion of the fee supports Save the Beach.

- The Maldives is a Muslim country and care needs to be taken in relation to the dress code on local islands. Whilst it is acceptable for men to wear T Shirts and shorts or swim shorts; females should avoid causing offence by maintaining a more conservative approach to clothes by wearing T Shirts and loose shorts/trousers.
