Memorable day in Acadia with Asher and Good Trip Adventures - We had an unforgettable day in Acadia with Good Trip Adventures and our amazing guide, Asher. Being that we were only in Bar Harbor for a few days, I felt a private tour would be the best way to maximize our time. I can happily say that our experience did not disapoint. Asher made the day stress free for us from the time we were picked up to when we were dropped back off. Asher made sure that we saw the main attractions but also took us on a few beautiful and less traveled hikes to avoid the crowds. Throughout our day, Asher filled the time with tons of knowledge about the park history and the geological events that shaped the landscape. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to book mulitple days with Asher. Our entire family loved our day with Asher. I strongly recommend working with Good Trip on your next outdoor adventure!

Tour Guide Greater than Tour Company - Asher was a fabulous tour guide for the full day tour of Acadia. They were experienced, knowledgeable and fun to be with for the 8 hrs or so.
Unfortunately their company, Good Trip Adventures, let us down. Two other planned tours (puffin cruise and Sunrise Cadillac) were missed because we had the misfortune of having two flights canceled so we arrived two days late. We were offered no refund for the two missed tours or even a credit. I will be discussing this with Good Trip Adventures though the horse has already bolted as we leave Acadia tomorrow. having spent thousands of dollars on three days of tours and only experienced one day, thankfully a wonderful one with Asher.

Amazing Experience in Acadia - Our family had the best experience with Asher and Good Trip Adventures! Asher’s knowledge of the park and passion for sharing and teaching about the history and local flora of Acadia NP made the trip more than a guided hike. It was a truly an experience that engaged the full family and that we won’t forget. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you!

Amazing Tour - This was one of the best, if not the best tours that I have been on with my family. Ages ranged from 10 to 75 yrs old and everyone had an amazing time. Our tour guide was Asher and they made the trip stress free, informative, and fun. Totally recommend!!

Best tour for our family HANDS DOWN - If you’re visiting Acadia, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Asher. This was, without question, the best tour—and Asher was the best tour guide—we’ve ever experienced.
From our 10-year-old to our 75-year-old, every member of our family was completely engaged from start to finish. Asher has an incredible gift for storytelling, bringing the history, geology, wildlife, and culture of Acadia to life in a way that’s both educational and entertaining. Their passion for the park is contagious, and depth of knowledge is truly impressive.
Beyond the amazing stories and information, the entire experience was flawlessly organized. Every stop, every transition, and every detail was thoughtfully planned, making the day completely stress-free. It was logistical perfection, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the country.
We’ve been on many tours over the years, and this one set a new standard. Thank you, Asher, for creating memories our family will be talking about for years to come. We couldn’t recommend this tour more highly!

100% recommend - We went into this a little apprehensive due to the cost, but it was 100% worth it. Jess, our tour guide, was a total rockstar. She was so knowledgeable of the area and had such a breadth of experience (be sure to ask about her resume…seriously unbelievable). She had such an interesting and impressive background, and that definitely contributed to the overall experience. It was like having a naturalist with us who was familiar with every aspect of the terrain. The sandwiches they pick up for you are phenomenal. The kids (ages 9 and 11) absolutely loved it. Just an overall fantastic experience…could not recommend highly enough.

Asher: Best guide! - Asher is the BEST! They were our guide for both a full day of hiking and a half day of hiking and hiking. Throughout the two days, they truly took the time to make sure we had a good experience, going as far as to ask us what snacks we would like for lunch and letting us curate our days based on how we were feeling. They are social, knowledgeable of the area, and overall made our trip so special. Go Asher!!!

Treat yourself!! - It is a full day adventure where you hit all the highlights of the park, and have a nice picnic lunch. Our guide was Jess, and she was delightful and full of great information on the park including history, flora and fauna and just interesting tidbits. I highly recommend the experience. It is tailored to your likes and worth the money.

Fantastic introduction to Acadia hiking - My father, son, daughter and I had never been to Acadia and booked a few tours so that we could see the best of Acadia while avoiding potential first-timer mistakes. Asher V. was our guide and was wonderful -- providing our family exactly the experience we had hoped for. In the morning we took a hike through Bee Hive and navigated the full trail(s) without having to repeat sections, finding areas that were less crowded so we could enjoy the quiet and the peace. The latter part of our day was spent with lunch on the west side of the island overseeing the water, followed by a peaceful hike on the west side of the mountain. A fantastic day!
