Was a very good tour, we... - Was a very good tour, we had lots of fun seeing the back country. It was very intimate meaning it was just our family and no large groups of tourists. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience - Totally amazing experience. Picked up at Cruise Terminal as notified beforehand. Great driver and very chatty and knowledgeable. Clearly very proud of his heritage and community. The buggy ride was out of this world. We had so much fun.

What an unforgettable... - What an unforgettable adventure! This dune buggy tour was an absolute blast and exactly what we were hoping for. The route was exciting, muddy, and full of adrenaline which honestly made it even more fun. The staff was friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable before heading out. Driving through the rugged terrain, splashing through mud, and taking in the tropical scenery made this experience feel authentic and adventurous. If you don’t mind getting dirty and want a high-energy excursion, this is a must-do in Amber Cove. We were smiling the entire time and would book it again without hesitation.

A Must Do in Dominican! - What an absolute wonderful EXPERIENCE!!! Carlos was our driver who called me and communicated with me on where to meet up! Then he took us into town to see local living and shops! where we meet serval local people among handmade cigars, jewelry, paintings. Carlos also gave us a history of the city! Then we went to the DUNE BUGGY ADVENTURE and it was AWESOME! The guides were amazing and friendly! The experience was crazy and fun. Kids had a blast! We got to hold a monkey, splash through HUGE puddles, go to the ocean! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Just Do It!! So Fun! Highlight of our excursions. - So fun! Be prepared to get wet & muddy. Bring your own bandanna & goggles or you will want to buy from them for $10 ea. It took my husband 3X to wash his hair until the water was clear. The carts are a little tricky to steer with no power steering. I chose to drive my own buggy and was glad that I did. The drive along the water at the beach was beautiful. We had a freshly made pina colada in a pineapple on the beach. It was $15. There was also a stop at a little store with some samples and photo ops that was also fun.

Great adventure - I enjoyed this experience with 5 friends. I would note that for future tours, the company offer the guests to purchase goggles instead of glasses. The dirt and debris stirred up by the off road drive left some of us blinking rapidly to clear our vision as we had on shades and not the goggles used for these type of excursions. 5 star service for sure just ensure that the guests have the right accessories for a more enjoyable adventure.

Don’t try to find the... - Don’t try to find the location off the Viator map! It’s not accurate. The dune buggy ride was exciting but they took us to places to buy things.

Not a dune buggy experience, kids were not impressed - Less of a dune buggy experience, more of a take these people to different stops to buy the same things experience. Our taxi driver, Carlos, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our dune buggy guide tho didn’t speak ANY English, didn’t greet us or even act like we were there. He was constantly on his cell phone the entire tour, unless he was fixing our dune buggy that kept breaking down. The dune buggy’s are terribly worn down and extremely hard to drive. They did not feel safe at all. You take them on the highway which was crazy, through 5 puddles and by the beach and after your ‘shopping’ stops, it’s over. The kids were disappointed and that made us disappointed. I wouldn’t book this tour again even if it was free! Also, the pickup directions were wrong, there was NO sign that said super buggy and we would have never found our guide if it hadn’t been for a friendly taxi driver who spoke English and Spanish.

The worst experience - This was the worst buggy experience we ever had in puerto plata. Their buggies are all run down and inoperable. We were stuck in the jungle for over 45 minutes waiting for replacement buggies which finally arrived and were not in better shape. The initial ones, we were told were dangerous to drive as the battery broke and we were going into water. Most of the tour was waiting for buggy replacement, we couldn't wait to get back as we felt unsafe. We contacted this company that was responsible for booking with this buggy company and nothing was done. The driver Carlos Daniel was very nice but had no power to do anything to help us.
