JM Barrie would be proud - Peter Pan was wonderful at Leeds Castle. All the actors/esses were fantastic and helpful. I particularly liked the Tinkerbell in the enchanted garden. I found her to be most empathetic and sweet. I liked the enthusiasm of Peter Pan and the explosion of his character.

Pretty good - Stayed overnight in one of the rooms which was luxurious and had everything you need for stay . Only bad point was breakfast was luke warm and dry, clearly cooked much earlier, bacon like rubber, poached eggs hard and dry, certainly not worth the money. Castle was a little off putting as channel 5 were filming and getting in the way so very hard to appreciate and see the rooms. Good facilities for disabled, friendly staff and made to feel very welcome, going back in the summer to try a pod.

Amazing all round. - Absolutely amazing experience, staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly! Helped me with a wheelchair and told me some of the history of the castle. Also gave me a headset while my husband went upstairs to look, so I could still experience the top view of the castle with him. I probably had a better experience than my husband as I got to know more of the history than him! Lol Thank you so much.

Lovely day - Really lovely day out, be aware it’s a lot of walking for young children. Would be a 5⭐️ if there was some kind of shuttle to take walk buggies on to, to get us back to the exit after a long day walking.

Neverland visits Leeds Castle - The Neverland decorations/theme in the castle was okay but I didn’t feel it was up to the standard of Narnia, Beatrix Potter & fairytale floral rooms experiences I have visited there in the past. Some of the illustrations on boards of Neverland characters seemed a bit Manga to me. The fairy was excellent with the children and really built a good feeling for them. I felt the Peter Pan overacted a little and he came across a bit scary to some children. The Captain Hook was better. Live actors did bring an improved quality to the overall theme however.

Disappointing for one specific reason - Beautiful grounds and the castle was great but the experience was slightly spoilt by rude staff with an attitude that regard visitors as an annoyance rather than an asset .. turned off Leeds castle as a result

Poor - The light trail was poor. Very short and nothing new or original. The fair rides were expensive, anything you buy was overly priced, a lot of money spent literally for under two hours entertainment. Sorry Leeds you need to up your game. I won't be returning.

Zero Hospitality - When It Mattered Most - We opted to stay at the castle when we visited. Unfortunately a serious medical incident required 111 to dispatch paramedics. On advising the hotel of their pending arrival we were reminded checkout time was in less than an hour and asked to walk to reception to meet the paramedics. Absolutely staggered by their heartless response. They made zero effort made to ascertain the nature of medical emergency, nor did they offer of assistance. Just a curt reminder when we needed to leave the room by. Made an official complaint in writing, not even acknowledged after 6 weeks. Exceptionally poor management and zero compassion or decency.

⭐ 1/5 – Misleading Pricing, Poor Organisation & Only Resolved After Complaining - Booked the Father Christmas Experience for our 3-year-old at £33.50, only to be told on arrival that we also had to buy annual memberships at £36.50 per adult, taking the total cost to over £100. This was not made clear at checkout and feels extremely misleading. If membership is compulsory, it should be included in the advertised price or added transparently during booking — not sprung on families at the gate. We were also told we should have arrived one hour earlier, despite never receiving any email advising this. On arrival, we were left standing outside a back door in cold rain, with no shelter for families or buggies, meaning buggies had to be left in the rain. Only after kicking up a fuss did they agree to let one adult in for free, which says it all — this wasn’t goodwill, it was damage control. Families shouldn’t have to argue at the gate to avoid being overcharged. What should have been a magical Christmas experience for a young child instead felt stressful, poorly organised, and like a cash grab. I genuinely feel sorry for families who arrive unaware of the extra charges and can’t afford them on the spot, After coming onto this platform to leave this review, I noticed that people have been raising the same issues for a number of years, so this is clearly not a one-off and something they have chosen not to change. If this review helps even one family avoid the embarrassment, disappointment, or financial pressure at the gate, especially where children are involved, then I’m satisfied.
