Perfect Trip, absolutely worth it!! - An excellent and highly memorable tour!! The excursion was absolutely worth it and is something everyone should experience and we had never seen before.
A special thank you to our driver, Patrick, who was incredibly accommodating and attentive to all our needs. He happily made stops for us along the way to withdraw cash, grab coffee, or take breaks, which made the entire journey relaxed and comfortable.
Our guide, Joshua, was fantastic — knowledgeable, attentive, and supportive, he supported us while climbing. He accompanied us to Mount Longonot in a calm and Professional way and made sure that we felt safe and well taken care of throughout the hike.
Overall, it was a very well-organized tour! We would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area.

Challenging Great Day Hike - This day hike was very challenging and strenuous, but very rewarding. Next time word of advice to everyone to not book a 6 AM hike and go out the night before lol. My tour guide made sure we got all the way to the top and all the way back down. I didn’t feel rushed during the hike. I would not change this whole experience.

Lovely hiking experience - It was such a wonderful one-day trip outside Nairobi. We got picked up on time by Jane, a very experienced driver and tour guide. She is very lovely and took us to the Rift Valley viewpoint and arrived at the Mt. Oloonongot for hiking. We met Steve who walked with us to the summit. Lucky it was such a lovely day, sunny, and we had clear sky. Really enjoyed the scenery of the valley and of course the crater at the top looked spectacular! Walking down was faster, and Jane was already there to wait for us. We also took the Lake Naivasha boat ride tour after. It was a good combination of two activities in the area!

Excellent driver and toughness of the hike is medium - This is not a tough hike, the driver Jane is a steady driver , she knows the short cut way for avoiding bad traffic. We took 4 hours to complete the whole journey but we didn’t complete the whole rim of the crater because we feel the view is about the same .

Wonderful Day Trip to Longonot and Naivasha - This was an excellent tour! Our driver Patrick was very punctual, kind, and professional. At Longonot, we had a guide Joshua who was also great - he was very friendly and he helped motivate us to complete the hike around the crater. The actual hike was beautiful and well worth the money! We also did the optional Lake Naivasha trip which was fun as well. Overall this was a great trip that I highly recommend!

Great Rift Valley, Mt. Longonot, and Lake Naivasha (amazing tour!!) - My mom and I went to Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha, and we had such a a good time! Patrick (our driver) was amazing! He told us so much about about Kenyan history and answered millions of our questions from tribal culture to who to give tips to and the general amount given. His optimistic and friendly attitude made us feel at ease the entire day. At the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, there was a lot of fog in the morning, which unfortunately prevented us from seeing very far. The view was pretty, but we only saw up to Mt. Margaret. Our guide on Mt. Longonot was Joshua, who is also amazing. He was so encouraging and walked at our pace. We talked a lot about the surroundings of Mt. Longonot and about other close by mountains, so the hike was very enjoyable. The crater rim was absolutely beautiful, and we spent a while up there while Joshua showed us 2 more mini craters and gave us a better understanding of how the volcano erupted and what animals are currently inside and outside of the crater. Lake Naivasha was also beautiful, and the boat ride was very relaxing. Our lake tour guide (Nixon) showed us many types of birds, and we also saw hippos, giraffes, water backs and impalas. It seems that throwing a fish into the water and getting an eagle to eat it is popular, and Nixon tried 3 times until the eagles finally noticed the fish. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the hike and boat ride, and the guides made us feel safe while we got to experience the beautiful views and wildlife.

An interesting day. - The hike was quite taxing but the experience was incredible & I recommend it.
Don't underestimate it though if you haven't been physically active in a while. The route can be pretty challenging.
David was an incredible driver & has singlehandedly prevented us from being stuck in standstill traffic that could last hours or even overnight. He even manage to keep to schedule & arrived back at my hotel at the expected end time.

Worth the hike! - Had a wonderful day at Longonot and then Lake Naivasha! The driver David was friendly and very kind, and went out of his way to make the day a success. The trail guide Moses was local and very knowledgeable and quick to take tons of photos in key spots :) The full rim hike is definitely worth the work; it is absolutely gorgeous. There’s nothing like walking along a trail with a lush prehistoric-feeling crater on one side, and a valley on the other. And we saw tons of hippos and pelicans at Lake Naivasha, the guide had a very keen eye. He even threw a fish to get an eagle to swoop near us.
