Day 1: Nairobi to Mount Longonot

Mount Longonot National Park - Begin your journey with a 6:00 am pick-up from your hotel or the airport, and set off towards Mt Longonot. A planned stop at the viewpoint on the escarpment’s side allows you to admire the Rift Valley floor from a bird’s-eye perspective. The Rift Valley system, formed 5 million years ago, stretches from the Red Sea through Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania. This volcanic region boasts fascinating features, including over eight lakes and the dormant Lake Bogoria geysers. From this vantage point, you can see the volcanic Mt Suswa and Mt Longonot, with their lush craters and the rolling green Rift Valley floor. The view is truly breathtaking, so be sure to capture plenty of photos.

Day Tour to Naivasha

Hell’s Gate National Park - Enjoy breakfast and prepare to depart the hotel at 8 am for Hell’s Gate, with a picnic lunch in tow. Arrive at Hell’s Gate entrance around 8:30 am and embark on a two-hour biking tour.

At 11 am, explore the park’s gorges, which are narrow land depressions where you can walk beneath the surface. Some areas have formed caves that you can walk through, taking about an hour to explore.

By 1 pm, conclude the tours and return the bikes at the gate, followed by a picnic lunch.

At 2 pm, all activities conclude, and the drive back to Nairobi begins.
