Fabulous fishing trip! - We had the best day ever fishing with Captain Nick and his crew! Lovely man who clearly was an expert in this field. Barracuda were the fish of choice today. They definitely put up a fight. Book with Captain Nick. You won’t regret it.

Caught a MONSTER! - We had an absolute blast with Nick and his crew! We were an avid fishing family and found this trip to be productive- caught 3 barracuda (one being a monster) and several other species that we released. After the excursion was over, we returned to Nacional Beach Club where we started, and the restaurant cooked up our fish and made both tacos and a fish platter while we relaxed in the pool. Both were fantastic! This was by far the best excursion we have done in Costa Maya!

Had an absolute blast!💥 - Boat was a bit smaller but did the job safely , had five bites in rough chop, landed 2 fish, had a monster on, myself and son in law had to tag team fighting till the fish broke 200 lb test 😢

Amazing Adventure - Great folks NIck made the experience very memorable. Loved the trip it was an Amazing Adventure!! They made sure it was easy to get too and made sure we were back on time. They communicated all the information very professional 👏

Nick the Brit put us on the fish - I have been on quite a few fishing trip but this one was one of my favorite. The guide Nick was great and his crew made it happen. There are four of us and we all were able to catch a nice barracuda in a very short amount of time. Nick made the trip and we loved it stories but maybe his Brittish accent more.

Good fishing, terrible catch prep service - Good fishing. Nice captains. Terrible restaurant management with our Catch preparation. If you want to not just fish but to eat your catch - better find someone else. After 2 hours wait, out of 5 fish we caught, they served us 1 fish and said they will keep the rest for their boss because “how can you eat all that fish?” My son was starving as we didn’t have breakfast, he is a big 14yo athlete who can eat a horse. We spent 4 hours fighting with the restaurant staff to have ALL of our catch served to us that we paid for. This was so annoying, unprofessional and unfair and just left a bad taste in our mouths.

Don't expect great fishing - Rough seas, 4-6+ft, for most of the trip. Did not hook any fish, only seaweed. After about 3hrs, we abuptly stopped and took a very fast and rough ride back to the beach. Two young kids as guides, so it appears they aren't very knowledgeable of the fish patterns here yet. We're experienced fishermen and women and we understand sometimes you don't catch fish. But we're a little perplexed at their approach to trolling..

Bad experience - Very poor experience. Not as advertised. I would like some of my money back!? I was expecting as shown on website: A nice boat with outriggers good equipment, and fishing for 4 people. There were two boats next to each other when we got there. One as advertised on the website with good equipment , padded seats, two engines, and out riggers. Then there was a junker boat.. no outriggers, no padded seats, old single engine, and cheap rods. The English speaking guy said that they sub contracted that boat for us??? They actually siphoned gas from a hose halfway on the trip from a non approved water tank vs a gas tank. Rods and line were old and cheap. Very little interaction from the crew. Most importantly, they only fished 3 rods, not 4. I have been on many guided trips before, had good fishing days and bad, but It was the fact that we got stuck with the subcontractors junky boat, old equipment and only FISHED 3 rods. To rub salt into the wound, the nicer boat showed up just as we were leaving and they did catch fish. Plus the English gentleman said they had a much better chance because of their equipment

Thought guide was a no show at first… - Boat was over an hour late arriving for our scheduled tour. No bottled water/drinks, etc as promised in description. Not what we expected at all. You just sit while the line is drug through the water and only participate when reeling in your catch. There were no fish caught during the experience which made it pretty boring for two kids. Guide was very nice but did not speak English so communication was very difficult.
