Good tour with an excellent guide! - Highly recommended tour - the ruins are very good, and the lagoon is beautiful. Jhoana was an excellent guide with a very fun personality. She really did a lot to make it a fun day.

Great day in Costa Maya - We had a wonderful day in Costa Maya with Jhoana touring the ruins and cruising the beautiful Bacalar Lagoon. She was very knowledgeable and provided interesting insight into the history of the area and the Mayan Culture. After touring the ruins we took a lovely boat ride on the Lagoon with a stop for a swim, followed by a delicious lunch at a waterfront restaurant. Everyone in our group of 10 had a great time! I would highly recommend this tour - especially with Jhoana as your guide.

Book this excursion, you won’t regret it - The Eco Experience team was great for our corporate retreat excursion. the staff was very friendly and very well informed, and the ruins and lagoon were very enjoyable for our whole group. Thank you all very much!

Family of 6 adults had a great time. - Jhoanna was a great guide made our family so comfortable all day and took care of everything. She answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. When we got to the Lagoon our boat captain Aaron was also great and again just made us all feel very comfortable. The lunch was also very tasty. We had a great time.

Amazing Experience with Jhoana - We did a private tour for 4 and had the best experience. The Mayan ruins private tour was a plus that we were not expecting. We learned a lot during the tour and Jhoana showed us photos during the drive there which made it go much quicker. After the ruins we went to the Bacalar Lagoon, had an amazing lunch, and got to get in the water. The lagoon is beautiful, and we are so grateful for Jhoana for making this a great experience.

Recommended tour - We really enjoyed the excursion. The ruins were in a really lovely area and the guide there, Alma, was very informative. The lagoon was very beautiful and a nice swimming spot. We enjoyed the light lunch. Our guide, Jhoana, was excellent as was the driver, Ricardo.
Our important criticism. We went to the meeting location but no one was there. We doubled back a few blocks and were lucky to find Jhoana along the street holding a sign with our names. We had not seen her earlier when we were walking to the meeting point. The other group on the tour had a similar experience. This is unacceptable! There needs to be clear communication between Viator and the guides as to where to meet participants.

Scam alert - Watch out this is a scam! This guy canceled the tour because he didn't have enough people even with the booking. Ruined our whole day. Don't book this company or tour. Never ever again charged me 338$ for two people. I want my money back. I went to cop to make a complaint.
