Great day in Costa Maya. - Toucan tours first took us to the Chacchoben ruins and our tour guide was Juan Carlos. He was extremely knowledgeable about the ruins and the Mayan culture. Our driver was Don Diego and he did an outstanding job of taking us out to Chacchoben and then back to Mahahual Beach. He was very accommodating as he would regularly stop for drinks and snacks. For those that did not want to go to Mahahual they took them back to the cruise port while others were able to go to the beach and swim and shop for more than an hour. This is a very good tour in Costa Maya, I would highly recommend it.

Great Day in Costa Maya - The tour was booked with Toucan Tours and our guide Juan Carlos and driver Don Diego were excellent. Juan Carlos is extremely knowledgeable about Mayan culture and was a great guide for the Chacchoben ruins. They were both very accommodating and willing to stop for drinks and snacks. After the ruins you had the option to go back to the port or go to Mahahual Beach. This was an outstanding tour. I would highly recommend it.

Go with Carlos! - The tour is by far the best price as opposed to going through any of the cruises. Toucan Tours is super easy to follow and Carlos the tour guide and Victor the driver were so funny and showed all the ins and out of not only the Mayan Temples, but taught about the culture itself!

Perfect excursion - Our guide Carlos was awesome. Knowledgeable, witty and punctual. Perfect amount of time at the ruins. Saw ever I wanted to see a very enjoyable experience. Price was 1/3 of what it would have been through the cruise line.

Great trip for cruise excursions - Elisio was fantastic, the small group made it so much fun! The ice cold beers at check-in are a nice touch. They’re pros, I highly recommend if you’re traveling on a cruise ship.

It was good because it... - It was good because it was fast compared to cruise excursion because our group was smaller. I liked Spanish beer, it had very good test, I liked that the excursion included a time on a beach. The price was very good for so many options. I didn't like when driver Victor started to ask for tips loudly but the tickets says "X on tips". I think if someone wanted to give it they would give it to him. Overall, I think they are very good guys and not serious and they tried to look funny. I think it is fine. Overal I liked it, happy that I didn't go on cruise ecxursion.

Pass on this one - It was quite a long ride to the site with nothing to look at but trees. Our guides mic wasn’t working so he had to repeat himself thee different times on the bus. Also he had a very thick accent and was extremely hard to understand. The ruins were just ok. I would normally recommend this tour.

Make it easier for... - Make it easier for travelers to find the pickup spot. We had a hard time finding the pickup spot , there should be a better sign posted. Person at the costa maya pickup spot was rude.

Left without us! - I canceled the morning before via email and text, and gor no response, so we tried to go the next day as soon as our ship docked and the tour had left without us!! They didn't even wait for our ship to get docked apparently.
