Great experience - The tour guide was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly and spoke excellent English. All round a great experience.

Small group, best service! - Very nice guide, lots of information (English) and very hard. Even the pineapples from the street vendor have already been organized- super all-round package, especially with kids.

wonderful half day with excellent guide! - lost trying to find them....go WAY OUTSIDE(2-3 blocks) of the port gates to find the 'fake mayan ruin'. another port operator sent me that way and then Toucan tours pointed me to this operator location just beside them. So everyone there is helpful even if you're not paying THEM. Our tour guide was execllent!!! he is in the picture of this review, he brought personal artifacts and photos to enhance the experience, great communicator. Our group was about 10 ppl. Driver and van was also VERY Good and attentive. the pineapple stop was gracious. Everything on time, I booked/payed this 2 days before on my phone.

Knowledgeable and considerate guide. - Ismael was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He was able to navigate my husband in his wheelchair through uneven surfaces.

Awesome tour - Make sure Octavio is your tour guide. He is beyond awesome. He is helpful and full of knowledge about the towns and Mayan culture. We had an amazing time on this tour and would definitely book again!!

Perfect Small-Group Tour to Chacchoben from Costa Maya Cruise Port - This was an excellent small-group tour to the Chacchoben ruins. The van pickup was right outside the Costa Maya cruise port gate, an easy walk from the ship. Our guide, Octavio, was fantastic — personable and knowledgeable. He brought the history of the Maya to life and answered all our questions. The ruins themselves are impressive and beautifully nestled in the jungle. The small group size made the experience intimate and flexible, much better than a crowded bus tour. I highly recommend this specific tour for a smooth visit to Chacchoben from the cruise port.

Great Tour! - Our tour guide was wonderful! She was a local who provided so much information and insight every mile of the way. She led us through the archeological ruins, educating us, and providing plenty of time for pictures and questions. We covered a lot of ground. But our driver handled it in a timely manner. We couldn’t have been more pleased.

The meeting place was a... - The meeting place was a very long walk from the cruise ship. Octavio was a great guide and we learned a lot about the area. Overall we had a great tour.

Mayan ruins are fantastic but the tour leaves much to be desired - Unfortunately after communicating specifically with the your company and getting a time to be at the meeting place, they kept us waiting for an additional hour, disrupting the rest of our plans. They crammed the van full of guests. The tour guide was pleasant and willing to answer any question, but unfortunately some of his answers were a bit sketchy. We appreciated the stop to get pineapple, but we’re not sure why he drove us around his village on the way back. It was out of the way and there wasn’t much to see. We had expected more of the tour. The ruins themselves were absolutely fantastic and we highly recommend a visit to them.
