The journey begins at our beach stand located next to Hotel 40 Cañones. Enjoy a boat ride on one of our 25ft pangas to explore key areas of the Great Mesoamerican reef, the world’s second-largest coral reef system.
We will explore two distinct snorkeling sites, selected to provide a comprehensive view of the local flora and fauna, and to maximize encounter opportunities based on weather and water conditions.
These sites are home to a variety of Caribbean fish and coral species, including Angelfish, Damselfish, Wrasses, Parrotfish, Grunts, Puffers, and more. There is also a chance to spot Spotted Eagle Rays or Green Sea Turtles.
We are dedicated to sustainable fishing practices and low-impact tourism experiences on the magnificent Mesoamerican reef system here in Mahahual, Quintana Roo.
After your excursion, unwind on the beach in a hammock or enjoy paddleboarding or kayaking. Our beach area, adjacent to Hotel 40 Cañones, is completely free of sargassum.

Our tour package includes semi-professional snorkeling gear, which is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after each use. This includes fins, certified life vests, and a certified guide who will capture underwater photos of your adventure as a complimentary service.
Enjoy snacks right on the boat! We offer water, sodas, beer, fresh fruit, and even delicious guacamole.
Our beach is conveniently located next to “Hotel 40 Cañones,” where you can relax on the beach and make use of our kayaks and paddleboards.
