The tour includes two stops where participants can float in the lake and experience the buoyancy of the saltiest body of water in the western hemisphere. Spa pillows are available for those who wish to relax and feel completely weightless, or guests can choose to swim around. Bottled water and light snacks are provided to stay hydrated, and fresh water buckets are available to rinse off salt from hands and face. Full shower facilities are accessible at the marina for those who wish to shower after the tour. Initially, there may be some bugs near the marina, so bee-keeper style hats are provided to keep them away from faces. Once on the lake, the bugs disappear. Remember to bring a swimsuit, towel, and sunblock! It is also advised not to shave any body part before the tour to prevent stinging from the salt water.

Drive to the Great Salt Lake State Park. Best way to get directions is to 'google' "Great Salt Lake State Park OR Great Salt Lake Marina". At the park, look for a big sign that says “Great Salt Lake State Park” to your left and we are located in the brown building behind that sign.

Great salt lake swim - All I say is WOW one of the best trips my husband and I have been on firstly we had the entire trip to ourselves which made it extra special and the swim was cool and well worth it. Our captain was very knowledgeable and friendly the whole day was fantastic thank you 🤩

2 hour boat ride in Great Salt Lake - Tyler was our captain for our boat.
He has a lot of knowledge about the area and the history. We have fun time swimming, sandbar, and learning.

Must do if in the Salt Lake area! - If you visit the Salt Lake area, this is an absolutely wonderful experience! Highly recommend. We enjoyed a beautiful two hour tour with our knowledgeable and charming host, Tyler, who made a few stops for us to swim/float and experience the unique beauty and history of this fascinating lake. It was definitely worth the ticket price and if we're back in the area, we look forward to doing it again. Thanks Tyler!

Great time had— ages 15-88yrs old - Great time! Tyler was a fabulous guide— very personable and informative— as well as fun! We loved floating in the Great Salt Lake- super relaxing! Our whole family had a great time.

Floating in the Great Salt Lake - This is the only company licensed to go out on the lake which means our boat of 7, including our incredible guide Tyler, were the only ones floating in the great salt lake, amazing. Tyler was very informative and gave great instructions and was so warm and pleasant, I would tour with him and this company again. Highly recommend!

Great Experience - The lake doesn't get much boat traffic due to its lack of fish, which makes for a serene and peaceful excursion. Being able to swim/float in the extra-salty water is truly an added bonus and makes this activity well worth it. Would recommend avoiding dunking your head to avoid salt water in your eyes/up your nose!

Don't miss experience - Fantastic experience. We enjoyed the lake from an immersive perspective (borrowed from our guide's humor trove). We learned some natural history, some ecology, lake economics, and the importance of the snow dance. mainly, We enjoyed a re!axing.time with our family and a float on the lake. Wonderful!
