Our journey will commence in the morning, with an initial visit to Toledo. An expert guide will lead us through the historic heart of the city where Muslim, Jewish, and Christian cultures once thrived together. Following our exploration of Toledo’s stoned lanes, our attention will shift to Aranjuez. We will tour around the Gardens of the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, exploring the royal greenery of this palace before departing towards our final destination: Alcalá de Henares. We will reach Alcalá de Henares in the afternoon, the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, writer of the most celebrated Spanish book: ‘the ingenious gentleman Don Quixote de la Mancha.’ We will have the opportunity to stroll down its principal avenues, replete with antique archways, and explore one of the buildings of the University, which Cardinal Cisneros established in 1499.
