• Alcazar of Segovia - The Alcázar of Segovia (meaning “Segovia Fortress”) is a medieval fortress and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perched on a rocky crag at the confluence of two rivers near the Guadarrama mountains, it is one of Spain’s most unique castle-palaces, resembling the bow of a ship. Initially constructed as a fortress, it has also served as a royal palace, a state prison, a Royal Artillery College, and a military academy. Today, it functions as a museum and a military archives building.
• Muralla de Ávila - Enjoy a walking tour within the Fortress City of Avila.

Often referred to as the Town of Stones and Saints, Avila boasts one of the highest numbers of Romanesque and Gothic churches per capita in Spain. It features complete and impressive medieval town walls, constructed in the Romanesque style.

A stop will be made for lunch at a local restaurant in the old town, where a typical “Iberian Traditional Meal” can be savored (if the upgrade option is chosen).
