Recommended - It met the expectations we had, I recommend it to see the most important works and not have to spend hours not knowing what not to see again, I went with two seniors and had a great time

You made getting tickets... - You made getting tickets easy. The agent was exactly where you said she would be and all the background work was done. Thank you.

Enjoy on your own with audio or you may not be able to hear your tour guide - Quick way to get through the museum on your own with audio. The museum was very crowded and extremely loud so I’m happy we did this on our own. I was surprised that the loud noise level is allowed. We have been to many art museums and have never experienced screaming, shouting and rudeness of patrons visiting the museum.

Museum top, AduiGuide fast flop - It would have been great if you had known beforehand that I had to download an app.
The audio guide was not complete, many pictures discussed by the official guide were not included.

We were not met by a... - We were not met by a Viator guide at the Goya statue. Another guide finally checked her list and gave us 2 tickets but her tour was going to be narrated by her in Spanish. We paid for an audio guide in English however at the audio desk we were told that our ticket did not include the audio guide and if we wanted one it is 5 euros. We did appreciate that we were able to purchase our tickets on line and skip the line on the date and time we wanted. This was our first disappointment with Viator!

Audio tour - Skip the line was ok but audio tour was disappointing. It was unclear how to get the pop app for the audio. Then inside it kept crashing and was not any better than reading the signs on the wall of each painting. No special insights. Waste of money.

Not what we expected - To be honest, we had not realised that you had to meet a representative outside The Prado by a statue to get your ticket to access The Prado and then join the line queuing to get in. The "audio guide" was just a phone download which covered so few works of art that paying the 5 Euros to get an audioguide inside The Prado was much better. I would suggest that unless you are visiting at the height of summer, the queue to get a ticket was short and would have been much cheaper. I am sure that the TripAdvisor option in summer would have proved more worthwhile to avoid very long queues. The Prado is well worth a visit but once inside there is no defined route through the rooms so you are in danger of missing out a room as you traverse to and fro. The audio guides which give suggested art works to visit, a one hour, two hour or three hour visit, are good but trying to move from one room to another in search of the next on the audio is a minefield of confusion.

Great gallery. Jumped the queue. Third party tour via app. - Tour isn't the official gallery one. It's a third party app which has to be installed on mobile and own headphones used. Would have been good to be aware of this before arriving at the gallery to collect tickets.

The audio guide was a frustrating waste of time - This is the first time I've had a negative experience using TripAdvisor. I signed up for this via TripAdvisor because I was attracted to the audioguide aspect of it. I met the representative from Naturanda Turismo Ambiental outside the museum to receive my paper ticket, as instructed on the TripAdvisor instructions. But when I tried to download the POPGuide app, that's when the trouble started. The TripAdvisor instructions did give a username and password to access the POPGuide app, however, the username is incorrect there! After a very, very long time struggling, I used the phone number found in the TripAdvisor instructions, and I was able to contact someone at Naturanda Turismo Ambiental, who told me what the correct username was. Using that, I eventually successfully logged into the POPguide app, but it was so difficult to use effectively, that I gave up and bought the audio guide offered by the museum itself, for only 5 euro! I highly recommend that you opt for the audio guide device offered by the museum instead of using TripAdvisor for this.

outage - Well we got to the Prado at 2.30 pm and we were not met by the guide at the statue as required to do so.
There was a power outage and the Prado had closed. But my group felt that the guide should have been there at 3 pm to explain that a refund would be given
