Interesting tour of central Madrid - It was an interesting tour with Paola. However, we found it somewhat difficult to follow at times due to her accent and the speed at which she spoke.
She was attentive to the needs of everyone in the group and made an effort to ensure that participants felt included. During the tour, she also took us to a bar where we tried a drink made from the madroño tree, and she kindly recommended several other places for us to visit.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. That said, we felt it was somewhat inappropriate to be told at the beginning of the tour that we should tip her, and that the suggested amount should start from €15. Your website clearly states that travellers decide how much to tip the guide at the end of the tour based on their experience, so this felt inconsistent with that policy.
