E-bikes are a great way... - E-bikes are a great way to travel. Great introduction to the most interesting parts of southern Madrid. Art murals and chocolate dipped churros were the best. Abdul was very good.

Madrid by bike - This was a really great bike tour through Madrid. Despite the heat, the tour guide was fantastic and explained so much of the city with an ice cream stop in the park to cool down. Great tour. Highly recommend.

Perfect glimpse of Madrid! - Perfect comprehensive tour that was informative and enjoyable. Madrid was impressively easy to see on bicycle-safe and accessible. Abdul was an amazing tour guide -full of interesting historical facts while still keeping tour light and funny. Highly recommend!

Great tour - Great tour we are really enjoyed it. Bikes were in very good condition and comfortable. Abdul our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He really went out if his way to make sure everyone was ok on the tour. Saw so many interesting things. Highly recommended

Highly recommend, E bike for 3 hours in Madrid! - I love how you can see a city on an e bike. Abdul was fantastic. We covered a lot of ground in Madrid in 3 hours. And he took us to a spot in a market for delicious patatas bravas and tomate con sal. Highly recommend!

Good but could be better - Great tour, it was cold so a little uncomfortable. The guide could have kept his comments shorter and a Bluetooth earpiece would have been better than stopping every few minutes to hear the comments

Not safe for anyone, including experienced cyclists - The bike tour was very unsafe. We were spilt up as a group several times. The tour should have had a guide at the back of the group for sweep too with how many times we traveled in major roads. The guide did not appear experienced with safe practices and made many dangerous lane changes in major roads in and out of a lane with parked cars constantly to start with. Also, many of the bikes did not have bells for safety which are legally required in Madrid. One of our bikes had a bell that broke half way into the ride. As for bike maintenance, one bike had a rear brake which stuck on after the second use. We had to fix it ourselves and the guide swapped bikes. The swapped bike did the same thing after about an hour out. Another of our bikes had crooked handlebars, not something you notice until you’re too far to get it fixed and the host does not carry any tools. The pedals were so worn that it was unsafe to bike when your shoes are wet, they slipped off at the slightest. The third bike, an electric bike had more concerning issues. The battery often stopped working half the way up hills and was at times over powered when our speed slowed. It was pedal assist with a hub drive motor. The motor was not calibrated properly to respond to force as a pedal assist bike should be. For the shutoffs there is no reason for it to shut off assist unless it has reached its maximum speed which was not the case in any form on the hills. This bike was not fit to be ridden and if it were a novice, the shutoffs would have resulted in crashes with cars following closely. My perspective on the maintenance of the bikes is based on two years of experience in bicycle maintenance at a licensed shop in the USA. My perspective on the route and safety of the ride are from my experience as a ride leader in the city of Atlanta for five years.
