Tour- Escorial and Valley of the Fallen - We toured San Lorenzo el Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen with VPT
Pilar was our guide and was very friendly, the explanation was very pleasant and easy to follow.
This tour is perfect for those who do not want to do a tour that lasts all day, this only lasted until 2pm in the afternoon.

Escorial and Valley of the Fallen - from the historic monarchy to the republic & the civil war - We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to El Escorial & the Valley of the Fallen. Our bus driver Maria Jesus navigated the city traffic and country roads smoothly. Our guide Pilar was professional, pleasant, very knowledgeable, and open to questions. A great team that we highly recommend! This was a very interesting excursion, covering a lot from both a cultural and an historical perspectives.

Interesting walk - Very nice walk! Our guide was Pilar, super friendly, warm and with lots of explanation of each site, detail and historical curiosities. We leave knowing quite a lot of Spanish history, if we had to choose, we would do it again because it is completely worth it. Thank you! 😊

Worth doing the visit with a such a good guide and proper transportation - A bit rushed, but Cristina, our guide made a great job explaining in English and Spanish the paintings and buildings, their history, etc.
Perhaps a longer visit (additional two hours, maybe - or a single language visit) would do the trick. I’d rather pay a little bit more, and not run so much. Despite that, highly recommendable. Certainly, much better than trying to get there by yourself.
