good bumby ride - amazing to hear and see around Madeira it was good to learn what grown in Madeira and loved every part of it and it include stops for photos

Geweldige tour met een geweldige gids! - we had booked 1 day to go on the greendevil tour. But because it was so much fun, we went again the next day. Miguel our guide showed us beautiful places and we were amazed. Miguel was a real atmosphere creator and we not only learned a lot about Madeira, but also laughed a lot! Thank you Miguel, we will never forget you and Madeira!

Superb walk - A magnificent half day between ocean and mountains with our guide Pedro. Humor and kindness were there for this trip between camara de lobos, the vineyards and the mountains with breathtaking views. Well done and thank you!

squeezed like sardines by Green Devil Safari tours in Funchal--Madeira - I took a Green Devil Safari tour on April 27-2023, as one of the options available to passengers in the Celebrity Constellation cruise. The scenery is great but the trip was AWFUL! Green Devil Safari squeezed eight (8) passengers in one regular size jeep--LIKE SARDINES IN A CAN! Four people facing each other on the parallel seats in the back, and the rest in the 4 available seats in the front. We all paid full price for the tour. It was MOST UNCOMFORTABLE AND DANGEROUS. Those of us in the back had to turn our heads to the right or to the left to see the landscape.One of the ladies in the back was considerably overweight and squeezed my friend across me. All of us were touching knees. There was no strap or bar to hold while we were taking a rather bumpy and sinuous road in the mountains. It was rather dangerous and also a most inconsiderate situation for us the customers. The owner of this business should try to make less money and provide more comfort and safety . BEWARE ! Do not accept traveling with this company if the operator PACKS THE JEEP! I have filed a complaint with the Tourist Bureau in Madeira.

Rough riders/worst ride ever - This by far was the worst shore excursion I have ever taken! First, they put 5 persons in a jeep that can only seat four persons including the driver! We were placed in the jump seats with poor cushions facing each other in the back of the vehicle which was totally uncomfortable and a very rough ride! We could not see anything during the ride! Then our driver took us through some very rough roads in the mountains with all of us bouncing all around the vehicle! The driver didn't drive or take the pot holes easy at all! The majority of time he was going through those pot hole with no regards for us in the very back as well those in the other seats! Not taking into consideration if anyone had a bad back or any other medical issues! The driver kept laughing like it was funny during the rough ride! The driver never explain what and where we were going! He kept telling us about him buying a fixer up house and him making numerous repairs to it! No warning that this was going to be a very rough ride in the backwoods' in the mountain! The biggest waste of money I have ever spent! I don't recommend this tour at all! Unless you want the worst ride of your life! I couldn't wait to return to the ship! Also the company needs to hired employees that speak clear English!
