A unique experience - Gabriel was the best host. He made sure we had a tailor made experience. His knowledge of the island of Pico and it's residents is impressive. The food, the liquor, the wine, but most of all the personal touch made it a very special day indeed. We will be back for more!

Culinary delights and island feeling - We had a wonderful day with our tour guide Filipe. He told us so much interesting and gave us a great experience with his affable nature. Also the stops during the tour and the opportunity for small walks were great. The tasting of wine and spirits was successful; the place of wine tasting by the sea is unique. Lunch was a feast for the palate; we could taste a variety of local dishes. Delicious!! The tour is worth its money. I'd love to come back!

Wonderful wine and good tour - What a great tour! The wines and food were excellent. Phillipe took great care to insure we knew all about the history of the area and its winemaking. We recommend this experience strongly!

Highlight of our Pico Island Trip - We had such a great time on our tour! Phillip our guide was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the island and the vineyards. He added some fun facts about the plants in the area and how they also affect the vineyards. We had a small group of 6 and it was fun to meet new people. We really enjoyed meeting the creators of the islands best wines and liquors/brandy. You can really feel the passion they bring to the art of producing fine spirits! Our stop for lunch included more than expected and was delicious! This was one of the highlights of our trip to the Azores and Pico island. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants some great company, local knowledge and delicious drinks and food!

Amazing Tour - This tour was among the best we have ever taken. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the island. The distillery, the restaurant (wonderful food and wine and plenty of it), and the winery were all outstanding, but most importantly they were local businesses people. Everyone we met was kind and friendly. We visited many unique and beautiful places on our eight hour tour and enjoyed every moment.

Wonderful Experience all around!! Do not hesitate for this amazing tour. - Felipe was amazing, having someone how has lived on the island most of his life, was a fountain of information. Very interesting to learn about the history and story of wine production on Pico, which Felipe was well versed in. Took us to local distillery, was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend his tour to anyone wanting to learn about the history of Pico wine production and food.

This is all you need for Pico! - This was a fantastic way to experience Pico Island with 3 couples. Filipe was a fabulous guide. He was knowledgeable about the history of the island, food and wine. These Canadians highly recommend!
