• Lokobe Nature Special Reserve - Located in the southeastern region of Nosy-Be, the Lokobe Natural Reserve is a protected national park renowned for its rich and unique endemic wildlife and plant life. It is the only location on the island that boasts an authentic tropical jungle and is home to one of the world’s smallest dwarf chameleons, measuring just 6 cm in height.
  The tour begins at the fishing village of AMPASIPOHY, reached after an hour of sailing in a traditional boat. Upon arrival, visitors can enjoy refreshments and seasonal tropical fruits, providing a relaxing break after the canoe journey.
  Following a brief rest in the village, a 2-4 hour hike leads to Nosy-Be’s distinctive forest. A local guide will accompany visitors, showcasing a variety of unique animals such as dwarf and other chameleons, lemurs, giant and other snakes, geckos, tropical birds, and more, as well as the diverse plant life in the forest. The excursion concludes with an authentic Malagasy lunch or dinner in the native village.
