Authentic, informative and fantastic experience. - Great authentic experience of life in the Chagga community. The hike was superb and we even had chance to look around the new health centre donated by previous visitors which is vital to the community. The waterfalls were beautiful and our guide Peter was very informative and enthusiastic. The Mamas back in the homestay were brilliant, full of song and dance. Made us fantastic traditional food as well as teaching how coffee is produced and brewed the traditional way. Overall a fantastic experience everyone should try. Asante sana!

A magical moment - An experience that is simply incredible and out of time. Machame Nkweshoo Cultural Tourism, and especially the stay at Mama Stella, is a real return to basics, far from civilization. In just a few minutes, all the stress disappears. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted magically, in songs and with exceptional human warmth. Hans, our on-site guide, introduced us to Chagga culture through the village tour, banana beer tasting (a real treat 🤩) and coffee preparation from A to Z. We also discovered the association they represent and its local actions. We also participated in the preparation of meals, all delicious, shared in a friendly and authentic atmosphere. Each moment was rich in exchanges, learnings and emotions. These two days were a suspended, deeply human and unforgettable moment. A huge thank you to Mama Stella and all her team for their generosity, their smile and for making us live such a true and touching experience. An activity not to be missed in Tanzania.

An unforgettable stay at Mama Stella's farm - Many thanks to Mama Stella, Mama Edith and Hans for their warm Welcoming. Thanks to them we discovered the culinary specialties, culture and traditions of their village Chagga whose life is bustling around banana and coffee plantations. True values of respect for the elders, solidarity. And we were able to see, through a nice walk in the village of Nkweshoo and the plantations, to a waterfall, the results of their actions to improve the living and environmental conditions in the village: construction of a maternity hospital, support for elders without income, accompanying orphans, school canteen program so that each child has at least one meal a day, tree planting, collective days of collection and waste incineration ... Not to mention the help with the evening meal and the coffee making ritual, which will remain unforgettable moments 😃 A big bravo to them!

We also Hiked through banana and Coffee plants and our Guide and the Women where giving us all the Special Knowledge you cannot read or learn from the Internet. My personal Highlight was the Coffee procedure wäre we were singing and dancing While preparing the Coffee. Definately Go there and Support This wonderful Piece of african Culture!
