Walking tour of Lyon - we had a small group walking tour of Lyon and were very happy to have Toni as our tour guide. Toni is very knowledgeable, friendly, energetic, and having a great sense of humor. We strongly recommend this tour to appreciate Lyon much more.

Great tour of old Lyon with Toni! - Toni and Maud were great with information regarding the tour and the tour itself. Toni was the tour guide and he was excellent with information about the old ville area. We appreciated the time he took to educate us about Lyon history.

Fantastic and edifying - What a fantastic and friendly tour of Lyon. We saw a number of sites and got an excellent history lesson of the sort that sticks. Toni was a blast. I have done a lot of research on Lyon and was able to add to my reservoir of knowledge as well as to make a number of "notes to self" for future reading and research. It was a clear day and we got to see Mont Blanc from the top of the hill at the end of the tour. I would take any number of Lyon tours from Tony.

Superb tour by Toni (5/5) - This was such an enjoyable 3-hour walking tour, even though it was on a rainy day. Our guide Toni was engaging, amiable and informative. We were never bored. For a start, we met at Bartholdi Fountain at Place des Terreaux, in front of the Musée des Beaux Arts. We explored Vieux Lyon and visited the famous traboules, hidden passageways used silk workers in the past, etc. The highlight for me was taking the funicular to Fourvière Hill to visit the magnificent Basilica/Notre-Dame de Fourvière. There was also a spectacular view of the Roman ruins/amphitheatre (Lugdunum). Toni suggested a few bouchons for lunch and we ended up trying Les Lyonnais, which served authentic, delicious dishes. Several things to note: 1)Try to take this tour as soon as you arrive in Lyon for a good orientation and “intro” to the city. 2)Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly, including wearing comfortable walking shoes. 3)Do note that the duration is 3 hours, with lots of walking. 4)Leave a tip. It’s a wonderful tour. Don’t miss it.

a guided tour not be missed ! - what a wonderful experience , I fully recommend it . We were a group of 10 friends travelling to Lyon for the 1st time. Our tour guide Toni was very knowledgeable about Lyon and its surroundings. He was very laid back , never rushed us and took time to tell us stories adding some of his own anecdotes which made the tour much more enjoyable. He also made time to send us recommendation for local restaurants after the tour.
