5 Stars in Lyon! - We had the absolute best time on this private dining experience with Laura!! Wow! This was part of our honeymoon, so it was really important to us, and it ended up being one of the most special days of our entire trip and set the tone for the best trip to Lyon. From the very beginning, everything felt thoughtful and personal. The food was INCREDIBLE, the wine pairings were perfect, and every stop felt carefully chosen. Nothing felt rushed, and we truly got to enjoy each moment. Laura was so warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. It was so amazing that someone we had just met truly cared about making our day special. This experience happened at the start of our trip, and it made such a difference. Not only did it set the tone for our time in Lyon, but the recommendations and tips we got made the rest of our trip even better. We felt more confident exploring the city and more connected to it. More than anything, this experience showed us how kind and welcoming the people of Lyon are. We will always remember this day and Insiders Experience, and we are so grateful to the Insiders team for making our honeymoon even more meaningful. We actually went back to one of the wine stores and bought wine to take home to remember this day! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lyon. This is a five star experience in every way.

Food tour with Laura - Our food tour with Laura was a lot of fun. She was friendly and engaging, we never ran out of topics to discuss. We enjoyed the wine shop and each restaurant, the last one we went to felt like a special experience. They were well paced also. We would have missed out on each of these places if we hadn't taken the tour!

An local experience not to miss in Lyon ! - The one experience not to miss if you’re wishing to discover Lyon as a propre local! I have experienced that amazing tour with Aldric, my local insider, I absolutely loved it. Aldric was very professional, kind and interesting. The food and service quality of the chosen different places were outstanding, very local and intimate restaurants in which we don’t feel like tourists, we feel like french people ! Staff restaurants were very welcoming and Aldric was also telling me entertaining anecdotes about Lyon city in between the different stops which gave some caracter to the expérience ! Thanks a lot to Insiders , I definitely recommend .

Delicious and delightful! - Thank you, Laura, for being such a superb host and treating us to a spectacular evening exploring the cuisine of Lyon. We were able to experience unique and truly local venues we would have never found on our own. The food and wines were oustanding, and the staff at each stop was very attentive and informative, ensuring a very personal and memorable evening, totally exceeding our expectations!

Excellent! - Aldric did a wonderful job! He met my wife and me at a nearby square and walked with us around the city, taking us to 3 different restaurants that locals might eat at. All 3 were excellent, and having a local there with us to help translate and share recommendations made it a special experience. We did this activity on our first night in Lyon, and Aldric was kind enough to share many fantastic recommendations for places to eat and things to do that we wouldn’t have found on our own.

Great food, wine and company in Lyon - We spent a thoroughly enjoyable evening in Lyon with Max. We visited three local restaurants that he had chosen - each of which was excellent and offered something very different from the more touristic restaurants recommended by many online guides. Max was also great company and provided us with little snippets of unusual information about many of the places that we passed during the evening. We would recommend this tour to anyone looking to enjoy good food, good wine and good company in Lyon!

Excellent experience. - We had an incredible experience on this food tour in Lyon! Eylül selections were absolutely exceptional – every stop felt thoughtfully chosen to showcase the best of Lyon’s culinary traditions. From hidden gems to classic favorites, the variety and quality of the food and wine was outstanding. Each tasting came with just the right amount of background and storytelling, making the experience both delicious and meaningful. I left the tour not only full but with a much deeper appreciation for Lyon’s rich food culture. Highly recommended!
