Cultural and gastronomic tour for Team Building - Our guide, Nathalie, gave us an unforgettable experience, both through her knowledge of Lyon and the gastronomic tour she arranged for us. Our multicultural group was taken care of in perfect English and Nathalie knew how to accompany each of us. I highly recommend it! 😊

Knowledgeable Guide - Wish there was more food - It was a great tour, and I gave it 5 stars, but I did want to explain a little further for people so they have a full sense of what they are getting into. I don't think it deserves 4 stars... but I do wish it had been a little different. Our guide was great, super knowledgeable, LOTS of history about not just food but also the area. So think of it more as a walking tour + some food. There was a lot of food, but I had a friend do the Secret Food Tour the day before and they got more food and more local food. The ice cream and sorbet we got, while good and a local product, I wish we had tried the traditional Lyon candies that I had heard about from my friend who did the other tour. I left feeling like I learned a lot more than I ate... I've done Secret Food tours in other cities and I do regret not booking that one instead.

Fantastic tour! - Megan was a superb tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about both the history and food of the region. In spite of the extreme heat, she kept us in shady places and reasonable walking distances. Distances. The selection of food we ate was great. Food tours are definitely one of my go-to's in a new city. I've never had a bad one.

Amazing food tour! - It's 4 hours of history and food. Nate, our guide, was so knowledgeable and was the coolest dude! We had so much fun during the tour and the food... Delicious!

Wonderful, interesting tour with fantastic food! - Wonderful Lyon Food Tour! Manu provided a lot of really interesting history and background on Lyon and it's rich food culture. Visited a traboule as well. Plenty of food, nice fellow travelers. Highly recommend this tour!

Very good food tour - Very good food tour with information about the city, good food, and plenty to drink too! 😁

Fun, tasty and informative!! - We explored Vieux Lyon with this food tour and got all the ins and outs about the gastronomic capital of France! Our guide told us interesting facts about the city, took us through some hidden passages and to authentic places to have us taste the best of the best. The cheese store was a reel discovery, as we got to taste local cheese and learnt how to pair them with wine. We got a generous tasting of different cold cuts and now know how to differentiate them (these were also paired with wine), and had some local delicacies at a traditional Bouchon. The tour ended with a typical pink sweet brioche like pie and coffee in another cute corner of town. The tour was well balanced between walking and tastings and even a visit to a silk workshop to learn about the ancient silk techniques. We got a useful list of recommendations in the end of restaurants where local people go (it is very easy to fall for a tourist trap in Lyon when it comes to food, so this came in handy!). Strongly recommend this tour and to plan it early during your stay in Lyon!
