- Temple of Horus - This is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, it was constructed during the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BCE. - Temple of Kom Ombo - Continue the journey to Kom Ombo City, where you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. This unique double temple was built during the Ptolemaic dynasty in the Egyptian town of Kom Ombo, with some additions made during the Roman period. Its ‘double’ design includes duplicated courts, halls, sanctuaries, and rooms for two sets of gods. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, the god of fertility and creator of the world, along with Hathor and Khonsu.
- Temple of Philae - Continue driving towards Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be transferred to a local restaurant for an included lunch. After lunch, continue your day tour to Philae Temple, located on an island in Lake Nasser, Egypt. It was formerly an island in the First Cataract of the Nile River and the previous site of an ancient Egyptian temple complex in southern Egypt.
- Aswan High Dam - Conclude your day tour with a visit to the High Dam, constructed in 1961 by the President of Egypt, Gamal Abdel Nasser.
- Aswan - Around 3:00 pm, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor or, if preferred, to a hotel in Aswan if you wish to stay there instead of returning to Luxor.

Amazing experience! - I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service I received during my tour to the Temple of Edfu and Aswan. The guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and well-experienced, providing detailed historical explanations while always being attentive and respectful. As a female solo traveler, feeling safe is extremely important to me, and he consistently made me feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for throughout the entire experience.
The driver was equally outstanding—very careful, professional, and reliable, which made the long drives smooth and stress-free. Together, they worked as a great team and demonstrated a high level of professionalism and dedication to their work.
This tour was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Egypt, and I would not hesitate to recommend this guide and driver to other travelers. They are a great asset to your company.

Fantastic tour in Aswan with Samy - I reserved a custom tour in Aswan and my guide was Samy. He was an amazing guide who was incredibly informative and gave a great tour of the major sites in Aswan. Samy made the experience very fun and enjoyable and I would highly recommend him!

Good tour options with kind tour guide and cab driver - Fortunately, we stumbled upon a great tour agency that offered a wider range of options for exploring around Luxor and Cairo. They conveniently provided online payment options for various packages, eliminating the hassle of dealing with cash. We highly recommend this tour agency for airport and hotel transfers, as it offers a more affordable alternative to expensive hotel transfers.
We booked two tours from EMO: a day tour to Aswan from Luxor and a day tour of Luxor’s eastern and western banks. Both tours were led by the same cab driver, Allah, and tour guide, Hamid. Both of them were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about Egyptian customs and practices for tourists. Hamid even took us to a fantastic authentic Egyptian local restaurant where the food and view were simply amazing. We’re planning to book tours from EMO for our visit to Cairo as well.
Hamid took us to the Alabaster factory owned by EMO, where we bought a few souvenirs. However, be cautious of the overpriced items and bargain like you would in India.

Best Luxor Tour - Our guided tour of Luxor, Egypt was absolutely fantastic! We visited all the main historical sites, and each stop was more breathtaking than the last. The real highlight of our experience, however, was our tour guide Khalid. Their extensive knowledge of Egyptian history added a rich layer of context to everything we saw. They effortlessly explained complex historical events and cultural nuances, making the ancient ruins come to life in front of our eyes.
Moreover, the guide’s command of English was advanced, which made the tour accessible and enjoyable for us. They were able to communicate intricate details with clarity and enthusiasm, ensuring that everyone in our group could follow along and appreciate the stories behind the monuments. This was, without a doubt, one of the best tours we have ever experienced. Highly recommended!

Incredible and memorable tour of Aswan from Luxor! - This was one of the absolute best tours I have ever taken. Make sure to ask for Ayed as your tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable and takes you through the history and minutia of the temples and sites of ancient and modern Egypt. Ayed was always on time and always pleasant and professional. When it comes to pictures Ayed knows all of the best spots and helped us get the best photos and videos while he eloquently toured us through ancient Egypt. He also gave us plenty of time to walk around each site on our own time before moving on. Incredible tour and incredible staff. Thanks Ayed!

We drived from Luxor to... - We drived from Luxor to Aswan visited the temples on the way and Aswan sites. Every thing was well organised and ontime. The tour lead was knowledgeable and quite informative.

Aswan day trip from luxor - this trip quite overwhelming in term of time . so much to see , so little time. The guide info that the border between aswan and luxor will be closed at 5 pm, so we need to reach the border before before that time. Hence , we didn’t take lunch, instead we had given early dinner at luxor. They offered to reschedule the tour at 5am , it was really too early for us. A bit suggestion, may be reduce the itinerary, so tourist can really enjoy the trip.
The driver were amazing , the tour guide just OK (standard service) . thanks to them who were trying their best to make the trip accomplished and we got back to Luxor on time.

The tour that never was - I had booked this tour twice, first without a guide ($120 for two), which was cancelled by the operator (Emo Tours) and then again, with guide, entry fees and lunch included ($300 for two), with Egypt Tours Online. On the day before the tour I got a message from Emo Tours, asking to confirm the trip and I told them that they had already cancelled it from their side. I also informed them that I had booked another tour with Egypt Tours Online. When no one turned up for the tour the next morning, I called the number provided by Egypt Tours Online and was informed that I had cancelled the tour. I had never done that and sent them screenshots of the booking, and then they realized that they had cancelled it by mistake, since both Emo Tours and Egypt Tours Online are essentially the same company, and they had cancelled the second tour that I had booked after our conversation the previous evening, without checking the booking numbers. I never knew that both these were the same company.
Essentially, they cancelled a cheaper tour, giving bad weather as the reason, but were willing to sell me a more expensive tour on the same day masquerading as as different company. Then they messed up the booking numbers and cancelled the new tour too.

Scary... - I will start with a regret for having taken this tour..
This is a clear example of what can go wrong. I will try to be objective, as in my previous contribution to this company EMO TOURS EGYPT.
We will start, with a I will have to be respectful of my guide because he is an older person, but I will definitely not let him try to scam me.
My guide was Mr. Nasser, and he arrived at my hotel on time to start the excursion, but this was not the case with the car driver and the car, who arrived until 6:30 am when the excursion was scheduled at 5:00 am. Therefore, we were already an hour and a half behind schedule, and it seemed like a short time, but it was a very important point when returning since the distance from Aswan to Luxor is approximately 4 hours.
After the arrival of the car, to start my excursion an hour and a half later than scheduled, my guide told me that they did not send him the tour tickets, and that if I could pay my tickets with my card and he would return the money to me in Pounds Egyptian, since entrance to the venues can only be made with card payment. To which I responded no, since I didn't have my card, because I had paid for the tour with the tickets included.
Maybe it's something insignificant but in a country where they try to get money from tourists, I was definitely not going to lend my card.
After this incident we continued with the tour with a little resentment on his part, since he told me that it would be difficult to enter the venues without being able to buy them with a card,
Nasser, unlike the other tour in Luxor, did have the knowledge that age gives him, and perhaps he made an effort to make the excursion more interesting.
The problem arose when entering the places of interest since we had to wait for someone to buy the tickets to enter, and we lost time.
Upon our return it was already late, around 4 pm and I asked my guide not to visit the dam anymore, since we would arrive very late to Luxor and frankly at night I didn't know Egypt and I don't know how safe it could be, to which I accept, but not before making a stop to buy food for him and the driver where we lost about an hour. Back on the road, at one of the police checkpoints they stopped us, where according to them we couldn't be so late on those roads, to which I was very scared because it was already night and they wouldn't let us leave.
They held us for about 2 hours, without being able to leave and with the distrust that something would happen to me.
I share my experience with you, so that you are careful when choosing a tour and above all, do not trust people.
I think it is not a tour where you can feel safe or they provide you with that peace of mind that they would be obliged to guarantee.
