- Art Valley Alabaster Factory - Next, you will have the chance to visit the alabaster factory, where people still bring stones from the quarry and shape them into various handmade items, just like the ancient Egyptians did.
- Temple of Medinat Habu - Continue your visit to the Medinat Habu Temple of King Ramses III, the last great warrior pharaoh of the New Kingdom (1550 – 1080 B.C.). This well-preserved temple is adorned with military scenes and texts illustrating the king’s victories, as well as rituals and festivals. A royal palace was attached to the temple’s open forecourt, with priests’ dwellings and administrative units on either side. After finishing, you will be transferred back to your hotel or Nile cruise in Luxor.
- Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina) - Proceed to visit the Valley of the Artisans, where the workmen responsible for constructing the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings lived during the 18th, 19th, and 20th Dynasties of the New Kingdom period (1550-1080 B.C.). Explore the ruins of the village settlement, the Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the goddesses Hathor and Maat, and two of the finest decorated tombs of Sennedjem and Inherkau.
- Habiba Hand Weaving - Then, move on to Habiba for hand weaving, specializing in hand-woven scarves made from Egyptian cotton, linen, and wool. Local hand weavers also sell machine-made scarves and shawls in cotton and cotton blends. Located in a rural setting on the west bank of Luxor with views of the nobles’ tombs, you will experience how women still use handmade machines to create pure cotton cloth.
- Valley of the Queens - Next, visit the Valley of the Queens, where the wives and sons of pharaohs were buried. Known in ancient times as Ta-Set-Neferu, meaning ‘The Place of Beauty,’ there are more than 90 known tombs, usually consisting of an entrance passage, a few short halls, and a sarcophagus chamber. You will visit three tombs of the queens and their sons, such as the tombs of Amun-Khepshef, Khaem-Waset, and Queen Tyti, the wife of King Ramses III. The most notable tomb is that of Nefertari, the favorite queen of Ramses II.
- Colossi of Memnon - Finally, stop for a photo in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon, which were part of the mortuary temple of King Amenhotep III.
