Edfu and a detour to Esna - Our Guide Mohammed and our driver were excellent, both experts in their respective roles. Edfu is virtually intact and gives a real sense of what it must have been like in the ptolemaic era. They were extremely flexible with our itinerary replacing Kom Ombo with Esna, a smaller temple but with beautifully preserved colourful walls and ceilings a long day but would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Transfer and visiting Edfu and Kom Ombo - The transfer with Karlos from Luxor to Aswan with visiting of Edfu and Kom Ombo temples was very convenient, quick and safe. Karlos is a great professional, kind and nice and patient man. He takes care about the tourists and respects and fulfil their wishes and needs. We were very satisfied and thankful to Karlos.

Day trip delight - We had an amazing day with our tour guide Mohamed Adel who was very knowledgeable and friendly! We first went to Edfu, a temple for god Horus. Mohamed provided insights to the background on the Egyptian gods and early Christians that found shelter in Egyptian temples. Then at Kom Ombo, temple for Sobek and Horus, we learned how to read some hieroglyphs such as the crowing of the pharaoh and early surgical tools. We finished off the day with a late lunch and was back at our hotel before sunset. Would highly recommend for those with a few days in Luxor!

Day trip from Luxor to Edfu Kom Ombo temples from Luxor. - It was about a ten hour tour but worth it to see the Greek Temples close to the Nile rIver. You can also visit these temples if you are with a river cruise. Both temple complexes are half way between Luxor and Aswan. I was accompanied by a knowledgeable tour guide Hesham. Recommend the tour.

Aswan & Luxor Tour - I had the absolute pleasure of taking a private tour with Mohamed Hashem. I can't say enough about the wealth and depth of knowledge he shared. He gave so much detail and was very thorough with providing an accurate account for the hieroglyphs scribed on the walls of the temples to the many, many questions I had. Whether you are like e and love reading on Ancient Egypt or you are not aware of all the antiquities and their meaning, I would highly recommend Mohamed. His passion to discuss and answer questions really gave us the best insight to all the areas we visited. I will be back and look forward to seeing Mohamed again! Thank you for your knowledge & enthusiasm!! - Patrick

Excellent - I had a exceptional tour of the temples with my guide Ashraf. Egypt is an incredible country with a remarkable history that Ashraf presented in an entertaining and educational fashion. The people in Egypt are extremely welcoming and I highly recommend EMO tours for your trip to Egypt. Thank you for the wonderful experience and memories.

Great trip from Aswan - Samir gaber was my guide and provided me with a great deal of detail about the sites before I got to both locations. The drive was long but very enjoyable as Samir explained many stories about the gods on detail. With a great guide it a great trip. His choice of small road side street food were delicious.

Amazing tour! - I had the best tour ever in my life. My tour guides name was Fawakeh. I had her as a guide in Luxor and immediately requested to have her again. She was well knowledged in all the history and mythology behind all the sites. You can tell she is passionate as an educator and guide. She was very thoughtful and went above and beyond to make sure my trip was safe, comfortable, and happy. I would highly recommend EmoTours and most eapecially recommend requesting Fawakeh for a great experience ☺

Long but Worth the Drive - I recently did this tour in Luxor. This is a private tour so you are able to move at your own pace. This was a special tour because after Ko Ombo, the driver dropped us off at an Aswan hotel vs going back to Luxor. The guide, Ahmed Emam, was nice. The driver, Mohammed Ramadan, was a great driver and very professional. Overall, I recommend doing this tour while in Luxor, especially if you need a ride to Aswan without a plane or private car.

Tourtouring of the tourist - NO MEAL, NO WATHER in a 11 hours trip! We paid 2x20 EURs for lunch, but our guide said, that there is no possibility to visit a restourant. Why the tour office collected for that money? We want our money back! The guide was not educated enough, I know more about the old Egyptian culture than he. Some part of the temples he did not show us because he’s opinion that we saw the temples too slowly! This was a private tour, we paid a lot of money! That was not a tour, that was a tourtouring of the tourist without water, without meal from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM!!!
