Flight, Luxor Temple, and Karnak Temple

Luxor Temple - A representative will collect you from your hotel and take you to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, your guide will be waiting to take you to visit the Luxor Temple, where you can admire its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great.

Temple of Karnak - Continue to Karnak, a complex of temples built over various reigns. Begin at the Avenue of Sphinxes and explore the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III, the Temple of Amun decorated with lotus and papyrus motifs, the Granite Scarab of Amenhotep III, and the Sacred Lake. Transfer to the cruise, boarding before lunch. Enjoy lunch on board, followed by afternoon tea, dinner, and a belly dance show.

Luxor West Bank and Sailing

Valley of the Kings - Visit the West Bank. Cross the Nile and drive to the Valley of the Kings to explore the tombs of various dynasties. King Tutankhamun’s tomb requires an additional ticket (not included).

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari - Proceed to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, constructed by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmose I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490 to 1469 B.C.), the only female pharaoh of ancient Egypt.

Colossi of Memnon - On the return trip, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues representing Amenhotep III facing the Nile.

Visit Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Temple of Horus - Enjoy breakfast on board before visiting the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Return to the cruise to sail to Kom Ombo.

Temple of Kom Ombo - Sail to Kom Ombo. Have lunch on board and visit the Temple shared by the gods Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo. Continue sailing to Aswan, and spend the night on the cruise.

Aswan Sightseeing

Aswan High Dam - After breakfast on board, begin your tour with a visit to the High Dam, completed in 1964, offering views across Lake Nasser.

Temple of Philae - Visit the Philae Temple on Agilkia Island. This temple was relocated from its original island of Philae, which is submerged most of the year by Lake Nasser’s waters. The main Temple of Isis and its monuments were constructed between the 26th Dynasty and the Roman period. Enjoy lunch on board, followed by afternoon tea and dinner.

Disembarkation

Aswan - Have breakfast on board before disembarking.
