Best of the trip to Egypt - For me the best thing about the trip to Egypt is definitely the Nile cruise. In our case we got the Alyssa Motorcycle and it was spectacular. The pool a little small to put something, but the cabins, the food, the staff, everything unbeatable. Our guide Amro, a well of wisdom, who made every excursion better. It is the second time I have repeated (the previous time on another cruise) and it also went very well. A luxury to be on the sun loungers on the terrace observing the wonderful landscape of the River Nile.

Notice to all negative comments - A magnificent cruise full of beautiful memories, contrary to many negative and degrading opinions of this magnificent cruise. The staff is more than friendly, always attentive, more than smiling. They do everything for their customers, this is remarkable!! The rooms are cleaned every day, they change the sheets every day and make decorations with great fun. The cruise is remarkable and unforgettable.

A cheer on Phoenix - A Nile cruise followed by a beach holiday was planned. We booked with Phoenix, first a finished tour, with flight to Hurghada. Bus ride to Luxor and since we absolutely stay in “our” second home, Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza Beach wanted, after the cruise by bus to Marsa Alam. Then take the bus to Hurghada again, and then fly home to Dusseldorf. But that was too strenuous for us, and after a short can rebook phone calls with Phoenix. So, direct flights to Luxor. After the Nile Cruise by bus to our hotel, from there directly from Marsa Alam Airport to Düsseldorf. It all worked out great. In the recessions had I read that in engine proximity, so in the rear area of the ships, it quite It's supposed to be loud. So I sent a mail to Phoenix asking us to to reserve a cabin in the front area, we had a special reason for this Nile cruise. We have had 39 visits to Egypt. Only the Nile Tour was still missing. So, 40th trip to Egypt, for our 50th wedding anniversary. They couldn't promise anything from Phoenix, but they passed on my desire for Luxor. Once on the ship, we got the cabin card with a smile. We have actually been reserved a suite. Front! So, the ship (Nile Vision) is no longer the latest, but everything was tip-top clean, and functional. The crew was friendly and accommodating. Every wish was fulfilled (not only with us) if possible. The tour guides were competent. A lot of expertise that was conveyed in a super understandable way. Also, you always had a fun in store. The tours themselves, were very tightly timed. So for late risers, something like this is probably not suitable. Get up partly at 3:30 in the morning. (Tour dependent) Normal was so wake up at 5am. Breakfast (there was pretty much everything except our beloved bread) but you know that when you travel to these countries. Freshly prepared omelette or mirror / stir egg. For friends of cereals to Egyptian specialties such as falafel or baba ganoush, there was everything. Oh yes, freshly squeezed orange juice at no extra charge, was also available every morning. Here we go. Everything was excellently organized. Buses were ready, or feluccas were waiting for us. It has been shown why Phoenix is arguably the best provider of these Nile cruises. There were very old paws on the way. Anchorages far ahead or behind Luxor, for example. Very many ships sailed with very few passengers, contrary to our Ship was fully booked. In the afternoon there was often leisure time, and we could relax on the Nile Deck sunbathing. We had wonderful weather. In January 24 – 27 degrees. Just great. 3:30 p.m. there was coffee and cake, and again Egyptian delicacies. Dinner was rich. Wide range of food, so everyone found it here. Everything was fresh and tasty. Fresh salads and lots of vegetables to choose from every day. fish, poultry and beef or lamb. The drinks prices ( beer and wine ) have not been as expensive as feared. 75 Egyptian pounds was really cheap. But that may be seasonal. The bottom line is: A successful Nile cruise. Incredibly much seen, learned and experienced. Thanks to Phoenix for this great experience. Thanks to the ship's crew who were always and at all times, with advice and deed to help. Since we are no longer the youngest, helpful hands were needed here and there. A Nile cruise with Phoenix, we can recommend with a clear conscience.

Fabulous trip on the Nile - We had a wonderful experience on the cruise up the Nile with our guide Ayad Altayeb. In addition to the included sites we booked the hot air balloon ride on the 2nd day (which I do reccomend). The trip was made all the more enjoyable by Ayad, who took great care of us. On the site visits he explained the subject in the right amount of detail for us - we had many questions :) Between site visits he was very happy to take us on quick walks in the village we were staying at, giving us an interesting view of the current rural Egypt. We also had delightful conversations with Ayad on the boat, leaving with us a very good impression of Egypt and Egyptian culture. The sites were very impressive (as expected) and the cruise itself was very nice and relaxing with great food and great staff. We highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in discovering ancient Egypt while enjoying relaxing time on the Nile.

I recommend it 100% - We did the cruise with the ship🚢 Concert I. We did 5 days and 4 nights from Luxor to Aswan. We got the best guide in all of Egypt 🇪🇬 Ghilab, a luxury. We did all the excursions and also extras such as going up in a balloon to see the ☀️ sun rise in the valley of the kings, visiting the Nubi village, light and sound festival, fabela, etc. The boat was luxury category, there are better and worse ones but ours was very correct. I only didn't give it 5 stars because: in the bathroom there was no shower, only a bathtub, I am tall and there was a tap on the ceiling, and very little water came down 💦. Also at the pool there were few umbrellas ☂️ and very few shades. And finally, our 🔑 electronic key did not work and every day we had to go down to reception to have it charged. On the other hand, all the staff in the kitchen, living room, and bedrooms were all very good, we had a great time. The food is all very good. Opinion written in Spanish as required by Tripadvisor rules (CATALAN NOT ADMITTED). From here I claim that it is Catalan, a language recognized by Tripadvisor.

Travel R REMOUE Anne-claire to me 5 hours agoDetails A 7-day Nile cruise with Travel Evasion is a group tour with stops and excursions, on a floating hotel. Well-honed system. We were on the Nile Azur boat on level 3 (ch 321), which allowed us to avoid engine noise, fuel odors, the hubbub of travelers at reception (unlike travelers on level1). The cabin was large, clean, functional. The staff was available, honest and professional. Hearty and good meals (guilty opulence in a country with 30% poor people). Impeccable hygiene, no sick on board. The Mona guide allowed us to succeed in our excursions, culturally and logistically, despite a program proposed in a very different order than what was presented on the brochure. Anyway, we realized what was planned although the tight timing does not allow to linger on the sites. Many excursions are optional (Abu Simbel, Philae, Luxor center, Nubian village, etc...), so you have to plan an extra budget or stay on the boat alone because the guides accompany the travelers on these excursions. Purchases: lots of solicitations from merchants on the sites, but lots of junk made in china. Do not believe stonemasons that everything is handcrafted. Handmade papyri are sold for less at the airport than in local stores. Give preference to shopping at the shop of the more reliable boat because offers the "real prices", especially for gold jewelry and clothing. On arrival, on the transfer bus, provide 65€ in cash: 25€ visa (Travel Evasion takes care of it at the airport, which is the simplest) and 40€ for the boat staff. Please note: upon arrival at Paris airport: you must arrive directly at the luggage check-in for Luxor and not pick up the counter of the Travel Evasion travel agency as specified by the Leclerc travel agent. Finally, the cruise allows you to discover the banks of the Nile identical to the illustrations of the books of our childhood. We will do a cruise again but a little more private.

Good guide. Comfortable stay. Enjoyable cruise. - The pic of the ship is not the same as actual. But we were satisfied with Nile Shams. It was an old cruise but hospitality was good. The guide Ahmed Qassim of Emo tours was excellent in taking care of us and was good in his knowledge of the local area and helped us get good bargains everywhere. He accompanied us in shopping and also did arabic translations for us. We liked the tour experience at Philae temple and Nubian village the most.

Not as good as expected - Had a 7 night cruise on the Hapi 5 fron 6th December. Boat was very tired and needs updating. This is not 5 star as stated but more a 2 star. The bathrooms were not finished off ie grouting looked like a 2 year old had done it and there was mould everywhere. Needs more attention to proper cleaning. Diesel fumes when sunbathing on deck. 2 of the Restaurant staff were over familiar and this was quite off putting. Reception staff were arrogant. Tried to pay bill 4 times only to be told they had "already cashed up" - weren't ready - come back later - too late !! The night receptionist called AMR was the only pleasant one. All staff were male!! The food was sufficient and plenty of variety. The guide called Mohammed was excellent. As a solo traveller I felt safe with him when we went out on our tours. If you want a Nile cruise then pay the extra and choose a much better boat.

Nile cruise boat tarot crossroads, Leclerc, private trip - I want to share my thoughts on my recent stay on the Tarot boat in Luxor marketed by carrefour but others also, leclerc, private trips. Blue Nile cruise without indicating the name of the boat necessarily! This trip has presented many unacceptable dysfunctions and practices, which seriously affect the traveller experience. 1. Welcoming and formalities at the airport - Payment of the visa stamp (25 € / person) plus 40 € Service fee, presented as covering driver or services, although it is a commission of the agency. Some people did not even have a visa on their passports and were forced to pay the fees. - Cash payment to the accompanying guide for the “remuneration of the staff on the boat”: the guide told us verbatim that this payment is €30 per person to be made at the end of the stay, i.e. €60 per couple, the modest sum of €1,200 2. Transfer and location of the boat - Transfer by bus to the boat: 25 minutes from Luxor. The boat is stationed in El Boghdadi, in a totally off-center area and very unattractive. All boats are grouped in this area, edge to edge, at the tail leu leu. - Result: no visibility on the Nile, unbearable smell of diesel, constant noise from engines. Presented as a temporary location for work, but it does not appear to be in progress. The more luxurious boats enjoy locations closer to tourist areas. 3. Boat and cabins - Minimalist comfort: exterior and interior minimally renovated, upper deck redone, but cabins remain very obsolete for the majority. Some renovated cabins are limited in number, although they are spacious. - Our cabin: permanent leak in the bathroom requiring towels to be wiped off the floor, air conditioning out of Service throughout the stay. Despite staff intervention, no effective corrective action was taken. - Significant noise at the stern of the boat due to engines; glazing is not enough, a noise-cancelling headphones is strongly recommended. - Recommendation: request a change of cabin if it is too exposed to noise. 4. Guides and excursions Guides encourage travellers not to buy in local shops to avoid being ripped off, and accompany them only to the shops they recommend. As a result, as soon as we got out, the travelers didn’t go to the local merchants and buses arrived without any sales being made. Guides would take us to their shops to buy papyrus, essential oils or stonemasons. During checkout, the name of the guide was systematically asked, thus ensuring their commission. – The guides also asked not to give small pieces to the children who asked, while partitioning us and directing us exclusively to their shops, which considerably reduced the business for all local traders. -Last day: museum outing of Luxor. The guides proposed a “museum + cornice” trip at 10 € per person, without actually visiting the museum. They explained that the agency offered the tour at €35, but it is obvious that this trip was programmed by the three guides for their personal benefit, and the budget was allocated directly to them (“on the pocket”), and not for the real cultural visit. 5. Personnel and Service - Efficient Staff (Daily Cleaning, Catering Service). - Correct catering but fixed placement limiting exchanges between travellers. - Drink prices: all drinks on board are at least 10 times more expensive than outside (120 EGP versus 10 EGP for a bottle of water). Exorbitant drinks pack: 120 € per person for the whole stay. 6. Health and safety - Significant intestinal disturbance: we were sick during the cruise, and easily more than 40 people showed similar symptoms, revealing a real health problem on board. – Passport retention: the reception asked to keep our passports for 24 hours, illegal practice, I refused to leave them. No safe in the cabin. 7. Environment and framework Banks of the Nile, roads and agricultural areas littered with plastic waste. - Passivity of local authorities to pollution. - Boat location edge to edge, limiting sight and increasing noise and fuel nuisance. 8. Tourist programme and supplements - Unless you are relaxing all day over the last two days, you will have to plan supplements to complete the program. - Not included must-sees such as the Valley of the Kings and Abu Simbel, only offered at an extra charge. In summary, this visit was marked by: - Our cabin with leakage in the bathroom (requires sponge with towels) and air conditioning out of Service throughout the stay - Deplorable area and constant noise - Commercial practices of guides favouring their commissions - Rigged excursions to the last Luxor museum - Excessive fees (visa, guide fee, drinks) - Health problem affecting more than 40 people - Very high prices of drinks
