A Fantastic Family Introduction to Real Archaeology - Our family day out with Great Egypt travel was a real success. The experience is a fantastic introduction to archaeology. The admission fee for children is lower, which is fair. The length of visit is an adventure from dawn till dusk. The atmosphere is exciting, like being in a documentary. The crowd size at Hatshepsut's Temple was big but we stuck together. The staff were vigilant and kept the group cohesive. This is best for families with adventurous kids. The boat ride across the Nile was a hit. It was only 10 minutes but the breeze was welcome and seeing Luxor from the water gave a great sense of place.
