- Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, embark on an unforgettable journey to the west bank to explore the Valley of the Kings. Here, pharaohs of the New Kingdom carved their tombs into the mountains to conceal their treasures and protect their mummies.
- Art Valley Alabaster Factory - Next, visit the alabaster factory where artisans continue the ancient Egyptian tradition of quarrying stones and crafting them into various handmade items.
- Tombs of the Nobles - Luxor - Proceed to the Valley of the Nobles, a collection of tombs belonging to nobles such as Ramose, Senniffer, Menna, and over 400 Theban nobles. These tombs, nestled in the foothills opposite the Ramesseum, feature beautifully carved scenes.
- Ramesseum (Mortuary Temple of Ramses II) - Continue to the Ramesseum Temple, the memorial temple of Pharaoh Ramses II. Located in the Theban Necropolis in Upper Egypt, on the west bank of the Nile, it exemplifies New Kingdom temple architecture.
- Valley of the Queens - Visit the Valley of the Queens, where the wives and sons of pharaohs were interred. Known in ancient times as Ta-Set-Neferu, meaning ‘the place of beauty,’ it contains over 90 tombs. Explore three tombs, including those of Amun-Khepshef, Khaem-Waset, and Queen Tyti, wife of King Ramses III. The most notable is the tomb of Nefertari, Ramses II’s favorite queen.
- Temple of Medinat Habu - Continue to the Temple of Medinat Habu, dedicated to King Ramses III, the last great warrior pharaoh of the New Kingdom (1550 – 1080 B.C). This well-preserved temple is adorned with military scenes and texts depicting the king’s victories, rituals, and festivals. A royal palace was attached to the temple’s open forecourt, with priests’ dwellings and administrative units on either side.
- Habiba Hand Weaving - Visit Habiba for hand weaving, specializing in hand-woven scarves made from Egyptian cotton, linen, and wool. Local artisans also offer machine-made scarves and shawls in cotton and blends. Experience the traditional craft of hand weaving in a rural setting on Luxor’s west bank, with views of the nobles’ tombs.
- Colossi of Memnon - Conclude your west bank tour with a photo stop at the colossal statues of Memnon. Afterward, you will be transferred back to your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor.
