The Temple of Karnak comprises three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples, all spread over 247 acres.
- Valley of the Kings - This is the final resting place for Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, including the tombs of the illustrious pharaoh Ramses II and the young pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were lavishly equipped with all the goods a ruler might require in the afterlife, and much of the interior decoration remains well-preserved.
- Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - The Hatshepsut Temple is among the most beautiful and best-preserved temples of Ancient Egypt. Constructed on three levels, it features two broad ramps centrally positioned to connect the levels.
- Colossi of Memnon - The Colossi of Memnon are two enormous stone statues of King Amenhotep III, which are the sole remnants of a complete mortuary temple. These statues were crafted from blocks of quartzite sandstone originally located in Cairo and transported 700 KM to Luxor.

What a great experience! - Booked two days and not regretted a second.
Day 1: to Luxor with driver Ismail and our Dutch speaking guide Ahmed. Not everything went according to the script, but before we could even say “oops”, the office had already solved it. I call that service! 👌
Ismail drove us safely everywhere (as if he had invented the road personally) and Ahmed knew so much to tell that we almost felt like Egyptologists at the end of the day.
Day 2: by plane to Cairo. We got the Dutch speaking guide Karadan with it. Again top accompaniment. We were guided smoothly through everything and really just had to enjoy ourselves and say “wow” every now and then.
In short: just book with this company. Saves a lot of research and gray hairs 😉

Excellent experience with choosing Marsa Alam Tours to organize my Luxor trip - I went to Luxor with my friends, i had a magnifecent experiance , every thing was going smothly so i want to thank evey one who join to make me had one of my best memories of my life fristly Mr. Wael who response me to explain every datiles for me before i booked the trip, i want to mention the driver nour who was very expert !
Also one of the best personaltes i ever meet Mr. Amed mostafa the tour guide was so spicial person, thanks for all who worked to make one of my favorite days .

If you want to see the Luxor highlights in 1 day with a good tour leader and private guide - We did the private tour. 5 persons all day our own 2 drivers, a private tour guide in Luxor and all day a tour leader (Abdo Ouf) who was friendly and helpfull.
If you want to see the highlights from Luxor in one day and do a nice boat trip on the Nile to I can recommend this day tour!

Must do - Everything was very well in order, the communication for the trip, the accompanying drivers (who even guide you safely through the heart of Luxor) and local guide. He showed us all the highlights in no time, took us to a lovely local restaurant and gave clear explanations. Highly recommended.

Unforgettable day to Luxor - We had chosen the private variant so you do not have to leave all hotels and were picked up by van at 4:30 at hotel in El Gouna. For safety there was driven in convoy to luxor with 2 drivers. Received in luxor by guide, so you are less bothered by sellers. But guide tries to sell you all kinds of extras along the way. First to Karnak temple, then by boat across the Nile with optional visit to banana farm. The lunch was very well catered for. Then to Valley of the Kings, where you can visit 3 cemeteries. Finally to Hatchepsut temple, nice to see that they are still working on restoration there. Guide knows a lot about the history at everything. Nine hours safely back at hotel after impressive day with unforgettable experiences.

Stunning Sites and Smooth Service – Just brace yourselves for the long drive - We would recommend this tour and tour operator for anybody thinking of a day trip to Luxor from Hurghada.
Communication and guidance prior to travel was great, all the team were professional, courteous, knowledgeable and punctual.
As general word of warning, it’s worth pointing out that the drive to Luxor takes up to 4 hours and if anyone has traits of travel sickness, then you might want to think carefully before committing to this excursion, especially if travelling with young children.
The sites in Luxor are amazing but considering you only have a limited amount of time in the city, you may find yourself wanting more time at each attraction; for us it was the valley of the Kings where we could have spent more time!

A journey out of time - Good guide who was very nice. Only downside: we advanced at a frenetic pace in the karnak temples and the Valley of the Kings, and had a total duration of activity of 13:30 including transport against 15 / 18h announced. Maybe because of the Ramadan period, but too bad, we auriond enjoy a little + incredible places that surrounded us:)

Beautiful, easy, well organized trip, flexible and with attention to personal wishes. - Nice trip with private car and Dutch speaking guide. The driver deftly maneuvered us through the heavy traffic. The guide was from Loxor itself and could tell passionately about everything we saw.
