Wonderful experience with Abdelwahab - The two-day tour was a great experience with Abdelwahab as a guide. He is a great Egyptologist, with a lot of knowledge about ancient Egyptian and eager to teach and share that knowledge. It is the best guide if you want a tour focused not only on seeing the monuments, but on what lies behind them and the culture. If you’re looking for a guide who will only take you to the sites and leave you lying on the sites without explaining what you see, he’s not the one. Tickets to the sites are included in the price of the tour (you can add at will of each one some entrance to specific graves, but he recommends the best). At no time did he look at the clock, he was in no hurry to finish and go, but on the contrary, he was looking for us to squeeze the day to the maximum to see as much as possible. Personally both he and driver Ahmed are two cheerful, young people and eager to work. The tour was private, with 2 more family members and transport was included, with a van where we could leave things. It should be noted that Abdelwahab didn’t do what many guides do, which is take you to tourist sites, where you’re going to be pressured into buying things or tipping them meaninglessly. He just took us to an alabaster craft store and talked to the employees so they would leave us alone and we could look on our own. This is to be appreciated, since most guides in Egypt have already thought out some stops in shops of friends or family where they pressure you to buy and the guide himself pressures you too. Bottom line: if you want a friendly guide, with very good English, wanting you to learn everything possible from ancient Egyptian and to whom you can ask all the questions you want, both from history and current affairs in Egypt, Abdelwahab is the perfect guide.
The two-day tour was a great experience with Abdelwahab as our guide. He is an excellent Egyptologist, very knowledgeable about ancient Egypt and genuinely eager to teach and share that knowledge. He is the best guide if what you want is a tour focused not only on seeing the monuments, but on understanding what lies behind them and the culture itself. If what you’re looking for is a guide who simply takes you to the sites and leaves you there without explaining what you’re seeing, he’s not the right one.
The entrance tickets to the sites were included in the tour price (you can add specific tomb tickets if you wish, and he recommends the best ones). At no point did he look at the time; he was never in a hurry to finish and leave. On the contrary, he wanted us to make the most of the day and see as much as possible.
Personally, both he and the driver, Ahmed, are cheerful, young people with a strong work ethic. The tour was private, with two other family members, and transportation was included, with a van where we could leave our belongings.
It’s worth highlighting that Abdelwahab did not do what many guides do, which is take you to tourist‐trap shops where you’re pressured to buy things or give pointless tips. He only took us to one alabaster handicraft shop and spoke with the staff so they would leave us alone and let us browse freely. This is something to appreciate, since most guides in Egypt include several stops at shops owned by friends or relatives, where you’re pressured to buy and even the guide pushes you as well.
In summary: if you want a friendly guide, with very good English, eager for you to learn as much as possible about ancient Egypt, and someone you can ask anything—whether about history or about modern‐day Egypt—Abdelwahab is the perfect guide.

We were very lucky to have Abdul as our guide in Luxor, and the experience was simply outstanding - We have been fortunate to have Abdul as our guide in Luxor, and the experience has been simply extraordinary.
Abdul was our guide in the Valley of the Kings and his professionalism impressed us so much that we decided to repeat with him to visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. From the beginning he proved to be a true professional of Egyptology. Unlike other guides we've had in Egypt, he didn't try to take us to any stores or promote shopping, something we highly value. Not only did he do his work impeccably, but he went much further, offering deep, clear and passionate explanations for Ancient Egypt, which makes each visit a totally different sense. It doesn’t just show monuments: it makes you understand the history, religion and life of ancient Egypt.
His treatment is close, respectful and very organized. Everything was perfectly coordinated, unhurried and with detailed explanations adapted to the rhythm of the group.
We were very satisfied with his work.
Without a doubt, we recommend Abdul 100% to anyone who wants a serious, cultural and high-level visit in Luxor.

Abdelwahab, an Exceptional Egyptologist Guide in Luxor - I have travelled with my family to Luxor. Abdul has been our guide today. With him we have visited the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Ramses III.... It is an inexhaustible source of knowledge of ancient Egypt, even reading the hieroglyphs. Undoubtedly he is an exceptional Egyptian professional!
Highly recommended for those interested in acquiring true knowledge about Ancient Egypt.
