Efficient. Fun. Highly recommended! - We were collected on time by our guide Amir and our driver who drove us the shortish distance from our hotel to the Karnak Temple. Our tickets were ready for us. On our way there and back Amir gave us background information about Luxor, Karnak and the Valleys of the Kings and Queens. The car was spotless, driver was safe and Amir was cheerful, helpful and full of beans. The show was certainly a bit dated, but it was atmospheric and the temple at night was exciting and more mysterious.

Spectacular guide and excellent experience - Our guide Michael was super knowledgeable and very nice with our kid (9y). If I would have known him earlier in my stay I would have taken him for all three days as of guide. Pick up from the hotel and back was smooth. The light show itself was also very good, but not really targeting children. I checked the English, German, and Japanese versions, and all were very well done, but far too complicated in language and sentence structure so that our kid couldn't even pick up the meaning in her native language. If one is without kids, one needs still a strong command of the language, since the original English version suffers from echoing in the temple area, and the audio guides have rather bad quality. All in all, it was still an excellent experience which I can strongly recommend.

Company confirmed... - Company confirmed Booking and then reconfirmed closer to the day via WhatsApp. Arrived to pick us up at hotel right on time and took us to the show and helped us buy tickets. After show met us at exit to take us to a souvenir shop at our request then back to hotel. Would recommend.

Good - Impressive lighting, sound commentary a bit dated and theatrical but good nonetheless.

It’s a game of 2 halves - Karnak temple is pretty impressive and the first half where there are lights and Richard burton style commentary was great. Makes you want to see the temple in the day. You then sit down and listen to stuff for twenty minutes and you see virtually nothing interesting. But the first half makes it worth going to. The collection and drop off were excellent.

Karnack Sound and light show with meal. - The show itself was interesting but the effects were a little out dated, particularly the end display over the sacred pool. Karnack however is a fascinating place and very impressive to walk around. The guide who collected us, Michael, was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of historical information about the place before we got there and when we arrived. The meal afterwards was very tasty typical Egyptian style food. With soup, Kofta sausages (or chicken), rice and fresh fruit for dessert.

Karnak Sound and Light Show - Our fantastic driver George recommended an excellent place to eat, Georgina’s by the Nile in Luxor and after we had eaten took us to Karnak with the guide Mena. Mena bought our tickets for us and treated us to coffee whilst we waited for the show to start. He ensured that we knew where we were going and where to meet afterwards. We couldn’t have been looked after any better. The show itself was informative but lacked excitement. The walk to the lake was a good build up but once there the show was a little dated. If you were expecting the fantastic spectacle of the opening of the Avenue of Sphinxes or the GEM museum you would be sadly disappointed. This was no reflection at all on the expertise of the tour team who were amazing.
