Day 1: Embarkation includes a visit to the Luxor Temple, where you can admire the impressive granite statues of Ramses the Great. Explore the Karnak temples, constructed during various periods of ancient Egyptian history. Begin at the Avenue of Sphinxes and visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III, the Temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus motifs, the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III, and the Sacred Lake. After your tour, you will be transferred to the cruise. Boarding occurs before lunch. Meals include lunch on board, afternoon tea, dinner on board, and a belly dance show. Overnight stay on the cruise.
West Bank: Valley of the Kings
Valley of the Kings - Enjoy breakfast on board, then meet your tour guide at 8:00 am to begin your tour of the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Explore the Valley of the Kings and visit the tombs of various dynasties and the Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the way back, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile. Then, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Lunch is served on board. Sail to Esna. Enjoy afternoon tea and a disco party. Overnight stay on board in Edfu.
Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temple: Enjoy Sailing
Temple of Horus - After breakfast on board, your tour guide will accompany you to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. After the tour, you will be transferred back to the cruise. Sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch is served on board. Visit the Temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo. Overnight stay on the cruise.
Aswan Tours
Temple of Philae - Sail to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, our guide will pick you up from the cruise to start your tour, visiting the High Dam, constructed in 1964, where you can enjoy views of Lake Nasser. Visit the Philae Temple on the island of Agilkia. The temple is located on the fascinating island of Philae, which is submerged most of the year by the waters of Lake Nasser. The main Temple of Isis and its monuments were built between the 26th dynasty and the Roman period. After the tour, you will be transferred back to the cruise. Lunch is served on board, followed by afternoon tea and dinner on the cruise. Overnight stay on board.
