Tomb of Ramses III - Known as KV 11, the tomb of Ramesses III is a complex structure in the Valley of the Kings. Famous since ancient times, its stunning decorations include colorful painted sunken reliefs with traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates, etc.) and depictions of Ramses before the gods. Unique to this tomb are the secular scenes in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showcasing foreign tributes like detailed pottery from the Aegean, the royal armory, boats, and blind harpists, earning it the nickname ‘Tomb of the Harpers.’

Tomb of Ramses IX - The tomb of King Ramesses IX, the third pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty of the New Kingdom, is rich in color and detail. His pre-coronation name was Amonhirkhopshef, and he was the fifth son of Ramesses III, becoming crown prince after his four elder brothers predeceased him. The tomb features a vividly decorated ceiling with the goddess Nut and one of the largest sarcophagi in the valley, despite some paintings having deteriorated.

Tomb of Ramses IV - The tomb of Ramses IV (KV 2) in the Valley of the Kings stands out for its spectacular hieroglyphics depicting scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and Book of the Night. The vibrant blue and white colors inside the burial chamber highlight the king’s rose-colored granite sarcophagus. A beautiful ceiling scene shows the goddess Nut swallowing the sun, which travels through her stomach before being reborn.

Tomb of Merenptah - In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. Tomb 8 in the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of Pharaoh Merneptah, was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Merneptah, a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret, designed his tomb with fewer lateral rooms and higher corridors and rooms. He abandoned the jogged axis used since Horemheb’s time, opting for a single-axis layout and a significantly wider entrance.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh, is located at Deir el Bahari. She was an ancestor of King Tutankhamun and belonged to the same dynasty.

Colossi of Memnon - The Colossi of Memnon are the two largest ancient statues in Egypt, dating back to the era of King Amenhotep III. These two vast seated statues stand 60 feet (18 meters) tall.
