• Khor Virap - Khor Virap is renowned as Armenia’s most significant pilgrimage destination, closely linked to the nation’s adoption of Christianity. Christianity became the state religion in Armenia in 301, thanks to the efforts of Saint Gregory The Illuminator. Before converting King Trdat III to Christianity, Saint Gregory was imprisoned in a dungeon, over which the Khor Virap monastery church was constructed in the 17th century. Visitors to the monastery can enjoy breathtaking views of the Biblical Mount Ararat.
• Noravank Monastery - Traveling along a narrow road flanked by rocky landscapes and numerous caves, one encounters a harmonious blend of architecture and nature. • Wings of Tatev | Tatever - On October 16, 2010, the church bells of Tatev rang out to celebrate the launch of a project to restore a medieval monastic complex and the inauguration of the “Wings of Tatev” Ropeway. This 5.7 km ropeway, completed in just 11 months, traverses a deep gorge of the River Vorotan and lush forested hills. The tramway is supported by three towers between its two terminals, one on a hill overlooking the village of Halidzor and the other near Tatev Monastery, on the road to Tatev village. Two cabins operate simultaneously, moving in opposite directions. There are six cables in total (three for each cabin), each specifically designed for this project. In approximately 11 minutes, a tramway cabin transports 30 passengers at a time from the village of Halidzor to the magnificent Tatev complex.

“Wings of Tatev” holds the title of the world’s longest reversible aerial tramway, as recognized by the Guinness World Records.
