Amazing and informative experience! - We had an amazing time! The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and so passionate about the forest and their history. They were happy to answer questions and share all they knew. The hike was relaxed and short (about 1/2 mile each way). On the first let, we spent time learning about the plants and the history. We went swimming as the sun set, which was beautiful. We spent the hike back looking at tons of frogs and other animals. We saw the forest in a very unique way with the guides and learned a ton. I definitely recommend this tour!

Great introduction to El Yunque - Pito and Jorge were great! It was my first time at the Yunque and had a great time. They were very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and ensured our safety the entire time. They were easily identifiable and were well prepared for an emergency. The walk is easy and is great for beginners. If you have never been to El Yunque, this is a great introduction!

Really fun your! - We had a lot of fun in this tour. The team is super friendly and helpful. We walked to a natural pool and on the way there they talked about the different vegetations. On the way back, at night, we could hear all the forest sounds and spot some Coquis and even a scorpion. Definitely something we wouldn’t have done alone!

Great guided view of the rainforest at twilight! - We were very pleased with the twilight hike. The ratio of guides to participants was outstanding. We had great personal attention( never felt like we were at the back of the line), had our questions listened to, and felt very safe the entire time. Little extras like fresh fruit available at the beginning of the hike, photos taken and made available online, and night lights provided for everyone insured an excellent adventure.

On point and professional. - From booking the tour to the finish an extremely professional and wonderful experience! Jorge, Iris, and Pito were perfect ambassadors of El Yunque and Taino culture. Y yo soy Boricua para que lo sepas! (And I am Boricua just so you know!) Great communication and knowledge. Proud and happy to have met them!!! G. Santiago

Twilight Nature walk - good, but not great - The El Yunque Twilight Nature Walk was well organized start to finish. It was easy to locate their van at the trailhead, we stuck to the advertised schedule, and they supplied us with backpacks, snacks, towels, flashlights and water bottles. The Twilight Nature Walk consisted of a sunset walk down the Angelito trail to a river area where we were given 45 minutes to rest or swim. (Warning, be prepared with a bathing suit if you want to swim and note that the water is cold, especially at sundown!) On the walk back to the trailhead, the jungle sounds came alive and we used red light flashlights to spot several Coqui frogs, which was very entertaining for our kids (ages 6 and 9). The scenery was beautiful and the guides shared some interesting knowledge about the rainforest at a time of day I wouldn’t normally take a hike. The walk was not too strenuous and easy for our kids to complete. However, the trail and swimming area are open to the public for free and if you weren’t right next to the guide it was hard to hear or understand him. I would say that our particular group tour wasn’t interactive or engaging enough to justify the cost beyond a self-guided hike or to make this a highly recommendable activity.
