Fun and educational! - We had an awesome tour with Jason on a beautiful day in August. We saw many grey seals, harbor seals and beautiful birds and were able to get pretty close up. We had the opportunity to explore 2 islands and learned how to whistle with periwinkle shells! It was a fun and educational experience. Highly recommend. Thank you to Deb for sending us to Blue Rocks when we arrived early and were looking to explore the area.

Excellent experience!! - We had our own private tour with Jason on a slightly rainy morning. The waters were incredibly calm and the weather cleared to reveal the beauty of the southern shore. Jason has a wealth of knowledge of nature along with a keen sense of humor. We saw Eagles, all sorts of shore birds and seals. Stepping on shore was a great adventure. Deb had treats and drinks waiting when we returned. Check out their “art shack” on the property . We highly recommend this tour!!

Perfect Tour! - What a wonderful afternoon. Jason the Guide and Owner was great - took safety seriously, great naturalist guide, kind and funny. We saw seals and special birds, and learned some things during our beautiful time in the water. Upon our return there were drinks and snacks waiting. How lovely! And thanks Deb for the Mahone Bay restaurant reco!

Best way to explore Lunenburg's coastal treasures - The whole experience felt more like a gathering with friends than a tour. Jason and Deb are true nature lovers and naturalists, blending seamlessly the nature, history, and culture of the area. Their passion and drive is infectious. I walked away with an understanding of the area, but more so a deeper appreciation of Nova Scotia, our connection to our past and future, and our relationship with this tiny blue speck of a planet we all call 'home.'

Best outing of our Maritimes trip! - An outstanding excursion offered by knowledgeable and experienced couple. Our outing followed Hurricane Erma so the outer waters were quite choppy, but Deb skillfully kept us safe by making adjustments as we went along. We saw wonderful seal and birds, and learned a good deal about the geology and natural history of the bay. Afterward, a warm fire took away the chill, and we could relax and chat with Deb and Jason and our fellow travelers.
