Great tour that I can highly recommend - Great tour which gives you a tour of the swamps and to learn about the history of the sugar plantations. Isabelle was great to communicate with prior to the tour and Robert our tour guide was wonderful. He was full of knowledge and information and really looked after us. I can highly recommend this tour.

See the best of Louisiana, outside of New Orleans City, all in one day. - Gisele was an extremely knowledgeable, fun, and kind tour guide. She blew away our expectations with her knowledge of Louisiana history. We learned about the layered history of the multiple cultures in Louisiana, famous places, and food. The Plantations were excellent visits. We went to one medium sized plantation and then one of the largest that was operating out of Louisiana. We learned so much on both of these visits. The lunch was excellent and also went above and beyond our expecting. Our air boat tour was also very nice. We saw a lot of birds and the tour guide took us on a wild ride doing donuts in the Bayou. It still felt safe though. Very pleasurable experience and I am so glad that Gisele was our guide. She made the tour easy and meaningful.

Wonderful experience! - What a great tour! Amazing food. We learned so much. Renee was a wonderful guide. I highly recommend Isabelle Tours and I can’t wait to use them again when I’m in New Orleans.

Fantastic Day out!! - We really enjoyed this tour. Giselle was our tour guide and was fantastic. She was very informative all through the tour even we while we were travelling between locations she continued to tell us about the history of New Orleans. We started the day with an airboat ride where we met many of the alligators inhabiting the swamp and our operator was very entertaining and informative. We learnt a lot about the swamp and experienced a fun ride as well. We then headed to Laura plantation where we had a lovely guide who was extremely knowledgeable, and we learnt a lot about Lauras family history and their life on the plantation as well as some of the known history of the slaves who lived there. Houmas house was our next destination where we had a lovely buffet lunch where I (who is usually a bit fussy) was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. The tour of the house was great which is full of antiques and interesting pieces from a bygone era. The tour guide took us through the home explaining life in this house and we then explored the beautiful gardens complete with beautiful old Oak Trees hundreds of years old and fantastic sculptures throughout to be discovered as you walk through. We even encountered peacocks, swans and turkeys along the way. The van was comfortable and the small group who were lovely was a great way to do this type of tour. We would highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous! - There aren't many tours that go to the Houmas house, So I was really happy that this one was available. This tour company had exceptional communication before the tour. Robert was an amazing guide and did everything possible to make our tour the best time possible. He even put up with my yacking too much. We stressed him out a little because our tours ran late but he handled it like a champ and with a smile. I was a little disappointed that we had to rush through our Houmas house experience Because the Laura Plantation changed its schedule but that was nobody's fault, it all worked out. Would totally do this tour again, highly recommend!

So thrilled that we took this tour. - Wonderful tour. Many different experiences in one day. Gisele was an excellent host and driver. Her knowledge of Louisiana history was amazing, and her stories made the time fly by as we traveled from place to place. Loved the historic plantations, the delicious lunch, and the great air boat tour which brought us in contact with many gators and interesting birds. Our family will remember this experience for years to come. Thank you, Gisele!!

Great all day tour with gators and plantations - This tour was amazing. The company confirmed pickup details ahead of time, and showed up a few minutes early. Gator portion on the fan boat delivered with a bunch of up close sightings. Plantation tour with two stops was very informative and the included lunch was very good. Our guide was very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor.

Perfect! - This tour was absolutely lovely and our tour guide, Robert, was incredible- knowledgable, patient and overall just a nice person. My mother and I had a great day and the tour was the highlight of our trip. Couldn't recommend more!

A very enjoyable day - We (family of 4) enjoyed the day very much. Communication was excellent with immediate acknowledgement from the tour operator (Isabelle) on booking and then again 48 hours before our tour.
We were fortunate that our group numbered only 5, so we had a very personal experience. Our guide /driver Robert was lovely and shared interesting information en route to the various locations.
My family all agreed that the airboat swamp tour was the highlight of the day, with us each choosing a different aspect of the tour as our highlight.
The 2 plantation tours were very different from each other. The Laura plantation was definitely the more interesting as it gave a more complete picture of life on the plantation. The Houmas House tour in our opinion wasn't particularly interesting and didn't really tell you very much about the plantation but it was nice to see the grand house and the beautiful grounds.
We all thought the lunch was very good.
