Wish for good weather. ... - Wish for good weather. It rained the entire time so visibiliy was poor. Erica our guide did an amazing job talking about the history of the moutain and the cog railroad. She adjusted our time to where we got an hour tour of Lucerne due to the inclimate weather.

The Perfect Day Trip to Mt. Rigi - This was a perfect day excursion on our very tight schedule in Lucerne. Tour lead, Gaby, was incredible in accommodating our schedule, logistics (especially navigating our lunch options), and interests. The day was clear, providing spectacular views.

Great day to the top of... - Great day to the top of Mt Rigi. Dress in layers and wear good walking shoes . We went on May 20th and it was cold, foggy and windy at the top, yet much warmer on the lake . You may have the option to walk down to the gondola ride and it is worth it in additional views , yet at times the walk was mildly steep, thus good sneakers or above recommended. You can take the cog railroad down to the gondola drop off point . Views did not disappoint ! If you are in Lucerne, you really should go to the top of Mr Rigi!. Our guide Rokf was very attentive to our group providing great insight and knowledge !

Fabulous Day trip - Gaby was a great guide. Made sure we all made it on the boat, train, gondola. The views from Rigi mountain are stunning. We had beautiful weather which added to the experience. Loved this tour

Must do tour in Lucerne - Our tour guide, Judith, was exceptionally knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. Being able to just show up and have the rest taken care of was just what we needed during a busy vacation. Judith handled everything, gave options and kept everyone entertained. We would highly recommend this tour, plus the scenery cannot be beat!

Absolutely gorgeous views. - Great trip. Beautiful scenery. Tour guide was very informative. We did a lot of hiking at the end and there was quite a bit of a decline for most of it which was hard on the feet. It was optional and our entire small group decided to try it out. It might be a bit challenging for some of the more mature crowd. A little slower walking pace for the last half an hour might have been nice.

Each and every tour was fantastic! - We did (4) tours with Best Of Switzerland. The first was Zurich Highlights Tour with cruise and the Lindt Chocolate factory. Hint: take the boat back earlier.
The 2nd tour was Rhine Falls and the little city Stein am Rhein. Monika was our guide. She is fabulous!
Our 3rd tour was Mt Rigi. So much fun. We took a boat, train and funicular. Lunch was amazing at the top. Pumpkin soup is a must!
The last tour was Mt Titlis with Monika again. Amazing
The meeting place is a little odd but given the city had a carnival going on, parking was hard!

Beautiful views - We enjoyed the boat ride and the train ride. I would have preferred doing the train ride back down the mountain as the gondola was packed like sardines! We were also not aware of the amount of downhill walking on uneven terrain.

Mt Rigi and Lake Lucerne - Very good experience. Please note there is a 10 minute walk from bus station to Lucerne boat dock (it is not a coach ride). The cogwheel train was a nice ride. At Mt Rigi there is a restaurant and nice views. Unfortunately we had a cloudy day, but still a great experience. The gondola ride down is quite full, standing room only. The boat rides are nice and very relaxing. Great views of the countryside and Lake.
