Aareschlucht - Aareschlucht West is a narrow and impressive canyon formed by the Aare River eroding the rocks over thousands of years. The turquoise waters of the approximately 1.4 km long canyon flow between high rocky walls, offering visitors unparalleled natural beauty.
Our driver will drop you off at the West entrance and then wait for you at the Ost entrance (or vice versa).
In the initial sections, wooden and metal walkways are fixed to the rock walls. Because you are so close to the river, the sound of the water is quite strong, and you experience the impact of the canyon best here.
It is suitable for all ages and there are many stopping points for taking photos.
Ost (East Entrance)
This is located where the canyon widens towards the end. At the end of the walk, the river takes on a lighter color and the view becomes a little more open.
Entering from the West and exiting from the Ost is the most popular way to use the entire route.
Our vehicle will be waiting for you in the direction of the Ost.
