As you walk past the station, you’ll come across the charming Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) and Water Tower, dating back to the 14th century, making it the oldest covered wooden footbridge in Europe. Along the Reuss River promenade, you’ll find the Jesuit Church (Jesuitenkirche), a remarkable baroque-style church rich in history. Continue your journey through the well-preserved streets of the Old Town. The guided tour concludes at Lucerne’s moving Dying Lion monument, a solemn sculpture honoring the Swiss Guards who lost their lives during the French Revolution in Paris in 1792.
