Ask for “Tour guide Angola” Desidério - The tour guide was excellent. He speaks great English and was therefore able to pass on his extensive knowledge.

Wonderful tour of Luanda and area! - It was a perfect well planned day trip. Our guide Zahra was just wonderful, bubbly, with perfect English. I was amazed and impressed. Saw the major sights and learned about the history of the country. Well done! Would recommend to any first timer or as a shore excursion.

Long ride - The 1 hour 20 minute ride at the beginning of the tour could be omitted. The tour lasted over 2 hours long. Could have spent more time in the museums and not at the hottest time ofcday

"Discover the secret that turns dreams into reality!" - An excellent tour with wonderful views of the Moon Miradour, and other parts of the city of Luanda. Enjoy a lot. So don't miss this opportunity to meet new Places.

A good (but not great) way to experience Luanda. - The tour company was quite disorganized so the pick-up at the port was chaotic. Once things were sorted out they proceded more or less smoothly, except for the Miradouro de Lua, where people at the site claimed that the tour company had not paid them the requisite fees (bribes?) to allow us to see the cliffs. As a result we only saw a fraction of the area, a great disappointment after such a long journey to get there.
The slave museum and the Sao MIguel fortress were very interesting places. However, we really saw very little of the cidade alta or the marginal. The crafts market was nice, but we are not shoppers, so it was not the best use of time.
Desiderio, our guide, was enthusiastic and informative, a fountain of knowledge. He clearly loves his country and it was hard not to feel a similar enthusiasm as a result.
I feel that we could have done as well hiring a taxi/guide for the day and just choosing the sites that were of greatest interest.

Good. - Good tour but too long! The drive out to the “mini Grand Canyon” was unnecessary and took way too much time. I enjoyed the fort and the memorial building.

Informative trip overall - Lots to see, although 90 mi ute drive to see the cliffs, but they were officially closed. Slave museum and markets were interesting, although vendors were very pushy. The presidents tomb and history were also very interesting. Our guide spoke good english5.

Too long of a drive - The drive was 90 minutes long to get to the 1st stop which made the stays at the other stops very short and rushed. Would have eliminated the drive to the moonscape and allow for more time at the other stops.
