A must do tour in Angola - This was an amazing tour which I highly encourage all to do! My driver; Pedro was great at navigating the off roads once we left Luanda. and my tour guide Vaz, was super knowledgeable in Angolan history and was amazing at curating the tour to my wants. I had a great time exploring and learning more about Angola and seeing the beaches of Cabo Ledo. Highly recommend!

I was thrilled in the African Caribbean - Finding Djamfly was a find in the middle of so many non-return messages with other companies. This was my first time in Angola and I had a 17h connection. And that’s how I introduced myself to Débora, who understood my needs and managed to personalize a tour with the key elements of Angola: culture and nature and cover my limitations: life meetings CLT. My tour was of excitement at the Museum of Slavery to the most exciting with the beauty “from the African Caribbean” that is Cape Ledo. And none of this would have been possible without the company of the guide Lorena and the pilot Pedro. Thank you for everything and I liked to want more.

I had an amazing day... - I had an amazing day accompanied by a friendly guide Ms. Domingas and the driver Mr. Adilson. They knew exactly the beautiful spots to visit and let me fully enjoy myself and my time. Ms. Domingas added positive vibes to the trip and Mr. Adilson made sure that we drove safely.

If you want to see the African paradise, come! - The experience started from the airport with the incredible and kind welcome from Lorena and Pedro. All along, Lorena was introducing me to the neighborhoods we were going through, full of enthusiasm. We arrived at the Museum of Slavery, and Lorena's joyousness and Pedro's availability made that place less heavy. And I could be near a baobab, an expression of the strength of African nature. From there, we follow to the moon view, which is a surreal landscape, seems infinite the rocky formations joining the beach, sea and sky. Unfortunately, this point was under maintenance, and we could not go to the highest point and take the picture in the frame. We followed to Cape Ledo, and we were immediately welcomed by nature, with several monkeys on the road and a surreal landscape. We visited two beaches and for me, the beach of surfers is an African Caribbean... several crabs along the beach, a sea of various colors of blue and green, and only to the sound of nature. My only consideration when planning the tour is the time in each place. Unfortunately, it was with strong sea and we could not see the cave, in this way, the planning should have scheduled to spend more time on the beach of the surfers, where we only went to the viewpoint and could not go down to the sand and sea. In the rest, they were extremely gentle and sensitive to some necessary stops for meetings, including the car is super comfortable, equipped with Wi-Fi and drinks on board. I close this tour wanting to know more of Angola.

Friendly but without inkling and competence - After some tour operators had argued for half an hour who was in charge of us and first it had to be clarified that we had actually paid in advance, we found ourselves in an SUV without a license plate after some vehicle changes. A person in charge then explained to us that the booked tour could no longer take place like this due to the delay and had to be reduced to a city tour. Due to our intervention that the same tour was also offered by the cruise company by bus with a lot of people, some of them with reduced mobility, we started. We were assigned Domenicas, a 21-year-old English student, as a "tour guide." She actually spoke very good English. However, it turned out very quickly that your foreign language skills were the only useful qualification. She came from an Angolan province. Our questions about country and people could regularly only answer you superficially after Google searches, just what a 21-year-old from the province with no background knowledge and life experience knows or does not know from internet searches. I then configured the promised Wifi internet access for us on your mobile phone. We drove to the lookout "Luna", which is also lt. Tour description should be approached. Apart from the beautiful view, unfortunately nothing more could be learned. Before we went on, the driver made it clear that it could be close with the timely return to the cruise ship if we were still going to the next tour point "Cabo Ledo". So back to the city on the same road as we had come. The driving style was a mixture of very optimistic and overmotivated. After our hint that we would like to get back to the ship in one piece, things got better. Back in Luanda City we drove to a beach where a photo of evidence was taken and sent to the boss Mr. Nelson was sent. Here, too, Domenicas shrouded itself in silence, even as we drove past the fort or the parliament building, for example. Instead, she tried her hand at being a talented young pop singer, so at least the mood was good. Conclusion: Too bad about the opportunity to get to know Luanda and the coastal region, because you can not get there again that easily. But that's how it is when a qualified guide is replaced by a 21-year-old student with very limited knowledge but a cheerful disposition (whether for cost or capacity reasons, we probably won't know). So, even top-rated tours booked through TripAdvisor are no guarantee of a good experience. Too bad about the money, but again an example of "TiS" (This is Africa). P.S.: By the way, instead of the agreed time at 3.30pm at 2pm we were already back on the ship; so much for the tight timeline.
