- Mirador Base Las Torres - Guests are picked up from their accommodation at 5:30 am, followed by a 1.5-hour drive to the PorterĂa Laguna Amarga Park entrance to present tickets. The journey continues for another 30 minutes to the welcome center, where preparations begin for one of the most iconic treks in the Magallanes and Torres del Paine region.
The trek takes a minimum of 4 hours up and 4 hours down, with the trail being the same both ways. The main goal of this activity is to reach the Torres Base Lookout, visible only after completing the trail, which takes about 5 to 4 hours of climbing.
It is recommended to be mentally and physically prepared. The return trip is of the same duration and distance. Those with knee issues should consider bringing knee pads for the descent, as it is quite rugged.
