Unique and historic attraction - I wanted something different - I love the area and wanted to get more history. That and a peaceful drive on a perfect day was great. Yes, you really need a car or some other form of personal transportation. I didn’t see any indication of public transportation. You arrive and see what looks like an ordinary church until you step inside. It’s so unusual, even for an early church while it’s made of stone, it has very rough wooden timbers, and the unrestored remains of frescoes. Walk further, and you will come to the entrance of this outdoor museum is not particularly ADA accessible, but the French have not learned much about wheelchair access yet unfortunately. You go down into a pit and arranged around this open pit is a series of caverns and half open rooms out of limestone. Inside a space is lived an entire village of farmers arrived, farmed and milled their own food. The last couple were born in 1907 and live to their 70s. They had their own school, and the photographs you see show them looking very much like Mennonites although they did not live the “simple” life this is definitely worth seeing and children absolutely love this exhibit. Definitely worth the detour. Do not visit this place on a very rainy day.

Troglo Guide - Very interesting visit. We took the guided tour and learned a lot. Our guide was very attentive and knew how to transmit his passion. There's plenty to see. You can then stroll around the village and try to spot the troglos 😉

Disappointing - It is not worth the trip very disappointed... already I am assaulted while I have not yet returned that my dog of 3kg must be in a bag while the bag is behind my back...we disturb....in the early afternoon at 2.20pm the store is not even open 2pm normally and nothing to see...given the price we expect something else I would not recommend this visit to any of my acquaintances
