Recommend Quinta da Tor - We were late in arriving due to a cycling event that closed the road, however, contact details on the confirmation allowed us to contact the winery and they held the tour back as other guests were also impacted by this event. We had a brief but very informative tour about the history of the company followed by a short tour of the production area and storage of the wines. This was followed by a 4 glass tasting served with home made bread and olive oil. The wine measures were generous and information about each of the 4 wines we sampled was provided by the staff as they poured. We also ordered some tapas and enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the glorious Portuguese sunshine.

Great wine, outstanding food, and a place worth coming back to - We had a really enjoyable wine tasting and vineyard tour experience overall. The concept and organization were well thought out, starting with a nice group gathering and a guided walk around the property. One thing we missed, however, was the opportunity to go down and actually see the vineyard fields themselves. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the wine was excellent. The food was also a highlight, especially the sausage, which was outstanding. There was also a pool that looked very inviting, although it was a bit too cold to take a swim during our visit. Still, everything about the experience was fantastic, and we would definitely come back again, whether for the wine or just for the food. In fact, on a warmer day, we would much rather return here than visit a beach club.

Fantastic wine Tour - Such a fabulous wine tour. Carina was just a wonderful tour guide. She was bubbly, knowledgeable and made our group visit a delight. We were a group of 22 and the tapas with the wine tasting were delicious. Thanks Carina for making this such a great day.

Good experience, good wine. reasonable prices - Did the Oak(y) tasting with the tour, left with a bottle of Cab and Syrah to take home. Small winery and tour is very basic but Carina does a great job of making it fun and interesting, was a mix of German, English, American, British, and Irish on our small tour and everyone enjoyed.

A Magical Afternoon - We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the Quinta da tor. Oscar and Carina were excellent hosts and guides. Carina gave an informative tour and shared some amusing winemaking experiences. We tasted four different wines and had a delicious melted cheese with honey and nuts dish. We got to exercise our « super powers ». We took two bottles of wine home so that we can practice our super powers. Haha
