Great tour of the the track, small seating experience and grounds. - Great 30 minute tour to get the background of this historic place in American racing history. Our guide was very relaxed, knowledgeable, and it was absolutely worth every penny of the cost. Would highly recommend it!

A nice Saturday afternoon - I had a free couple of hours on a Saturday and this was a great way to spend the afternoon. It doesn’t take a full day, but was an interesting experience. The museum offered a bit of history combined with a nice interactive experience.

Worth the Visit! - Nice tour with some interesting insights about the Derby’s history. The weather unfortunately was very chilly and snowy so the external portion was limited but still cool to see the track upfront.

Jewel Of Louisville - We concluded our tour of the Kentucky Horse Country with a visit to the Kentucky derby Museum. We began with a walk around the outside of historic Churchill Downs with its memorials to great Derby legends. The Museum contains exhibits about the horses, jockeys, trainers, owners and all involved with the Derby and its participants. A visit to the grandstand to see the track where the horses run is not to be missed. We did not stay for races but, perhaps on another trip. Our visit was thoroughly enjoyable and will help us better appreciate future Derby telecasts.
